That roaster Alan O'Brien, total bottle merchant and a complete shanbag. Woeful, could have played better myself.

I never disliked the guy. Really wanted him to click but it never did. We were desperate for a good attacking threat back then.

Can't agree with Agathe, thought he could have been tremendous for us if he'd stayed longer. Bit harsh on Chris Killen too IMHO.

Agathe was tremendous in short spell

Got told off for referring to him as Katie so I’m out.

I’d end up getting banned on here, if I I said how I really feel about Doherty.

Did he not concede a penalty in the final that has no name.
I'd erased that game from my mind in fairness

Got to say Pat Fenlon was guilty of signing some of the worst players I’ve ever seen at Hibs with the odd exception.

Fenlon should have been sacked after that final. That's my most controversial opinion.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Edwin De Graff. He ran like he had a fridge tied to him. Possibly the slowest and worst footballer to play at Hibs in the last 20 years

Will probably get slaughtered for this but Anthony Stokes.

Forever grateful for that unreal display on 21.05.2016, he was unstoppable that day and won us the cup. But a dislikable character and towards the end treated the club with no respect, turnign up late all the time to training, fights on the training ground with management etc. Acted like Billy big baws, never grew up and thought he could do whatever the hell he liked. I can't imagine someone like that would be well liked in the dressing room either.

As I say, legend for his heroics in the final but can't say I think much of him as a person and he left the club under a cloud. Shame because with his experience he could have been such an asset to have around the club if he just had a better attitude.

Some of the names on this thread still give me nightmares! Billy Brown, arrogant hearts ******* should never have been anywhere near Hibs. An absolute bellend of the highest order.

Pat had little support or money, and an uphill task.

    Likeable guy though.

Remember hearing that our scouting back then was a shambles too.

Dempster coming in was the best thing that could have happened to us. I genuinely think Pat may have done well if he was here the following season as things at the club were beginning to work.

Yup. Was great to see Pat in the Hibs end at Hampden when we won the cup. He had some honking results which he'll unfortunately be remembered for but I just couldn't dislike the guy.

Killen couldn't wait to leave Hibs, despite the fact Hibs took good care of him considering how often he was on the treatment table. He was offered a good deal by Collins to stay (while he was still injured) at the same time he was talking to Cardiff City who paraded him as a new signing only for Celtic to step in at the last minute and snatch him away from them.

He was very well received that day and seemed to be quite surprised by it.

A decent and humble man who was dealt a terrible hand as Hibs manager.

Eduardo Hurtado. Sure he was meant to be a replacement for Latapy.

Hurtado was a striker. More likely to fill the Mixu role. Didn't find him particularly dislikable, just crap!

Thought we signed Hurtado as a mate for De La Cruz and Andrews to keep Latapy in fags 😀

Why do so many dislike the Gambian Roberto Carlos? Wasn't very memorable other than his free kick attempt

This. Couldn’t stand him. He thought he was Glenn Hoddle. Loved to attempt a long pass but nearly always duck-hooked it 30 yards away from its target. Then after the ‘squiggler ‘ attempted to shoot every time he got a sight of goal no matter how far out he was.

Did he score two squigglers for us? I can only remember one but I’ve something in my head telling me he done it twice..

Did he not score a peach against Rangers at Ibrox? In that 0-3/1-3 win?

I remember as soon as he was injured for the duration of the season and out of contract that Strachan would sign him to weaken us.
