    A year at the Helm

What a year it was for our manager from when things looked really grim for him to an incredible unbeaten run , finishing 3rd and qualifying for Europe. Throughout it all I think we all agree he handled himself really well and always backed the players in believing what they were doing was right even though there must have been a fair amount of pressure on him and the team at that time.

I remember him saying he had learnt different things from our previous managers though IMO I see some similarities in what he’s doing in the way we were under Jack Ross to a degree, maybe that’s just me though.

The togetherness and spirit that the manager ,staff and the team showed was brilliant . Thankfully our managers first year turned out to be a memorable one and hopefully we have another one this season too ! .

Interesting you mention Jack Ross. SDG has the highest points per game since him and, relegation years aside, a baws hair better than Tony Mowbray and better than the rest in the post Tornadoes era.

I'm sure we can keep that going into the future.
