Well I think we have an answer about whether Slicker is the answer at goalkeeper in the short term.
He's blocked off and there is a comedy of errors but he has to save that.

I know they are overprotected at times, but that's a foul on the goalie for me, basically blocked him off and stopped him moving

Friendly or not, it’s so poor.
Poor performances are becoming more frequent these days.

Clarke should've went after the Euros.
It was clearly time for a fresh set of eyes and fresh outlook. So negative and dull as has become the norm under Clarke.

I don't understand the logic behind bringing on a keeper who has never played a first team game. Feel sorry for the guy.

It's a big jump even for guys playing regularly. Craig Gordon was a bag of nerves in his first few games for Scotland. Remember him letting a shot from about 40 yards go right through his hands v Norway and just got back to keep it out. He would never have done that at club level. Walter Smith initially dropped him and brought Rab Douglas back in. It was Douglas getting injured v Italy away that gave Gordon his second chance.
Hopefully the young lad is strong enough to bounce back.

Totally agree. His ship has sailed, his tactics and his continued selection of players who are no longer good enough for international level is hampering this team. A younger manager with fresh ideas is whats needed
