We wore it at Easter Road against Hearts in the middle 80's, New Year fixture if I recall correctly.
There was he game where we lost 2-1, Willie Jamieson scored for us on 1 Jan 1985. But I think the strip we wore that day was this one, which is slightly different to the one I posted above:

Wow! I’ve got that one in my cupboard. It has srunk mind, but £400. That’s good to know. Got the home one too.

Did very well in the early days of eBay. Managed to secure those two, the 1991 League Cup top (home and away) and a mid 80s P&D windows away shirt with the old crown badge for buttons.

Back then nobody knew the value of old shirts. Think I got the 91 Cup Final shirt for £20!

None of them fit me anymore, but I do like getting them out every so often. Will be fitting my sons soon.

My daughter is starting to fit into mine, and I can fit into my Dads old ones!

    (I have fakes too BTW).

    Ditto.

You do wonder how a kit deal is done with football clubs.

Do clubs put it out to tender or do the manufacturers contact clubs with a proposition when their current kit deal is due to expire. And is it all down to money or would clubs want to be associated with a world class brand, with a bit less money. I'm sure a Hibs Adidas kit would outsell any other brand over the last few years, as long as it was not an ugly design. It would be a massive seller.

Going back a bit now but I'm sure when we went with Adidas, Alex Miller was our manager. I'm positive I read a story that he knew a marketing guy who worked with Adidas and we subsequently changed from Umbro to Adidas. When Miller was with St Mirren prior to joining us their kits were Adidas.

I have read some supporters say on here that there can be a bit of brand snobbery at times. I get that, but seeing Hibs running out with a quality Adidas kit as we did in the 80's & 90's was great. I had the home and away Adidas kits and they were brilliant.

There is a bit of brand snobbery at times. However, I very much doubt you would see the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG or Liverpool running out with a Joma or Bukta kit.

I would like to think we are still big enough to have a quality, high end Adidas
    or Nike kit.
    Totally agree

I’ve got a 91 match worn home top, number 10, long sleeved. The shirt was a good one anyway but the player issue shirts were a bit nicer with the embroidered badges.

    Sponsored free too.

I love it more than any of my family members.

Nike are a mixed bag some really bad some really good. Eg the new Chelsea home one is bad IMO with a really silly collar:

But their away kit with a nod to Hungarian kits of the past for some reason, is quite good:

And I do like the new Spurs all black away kit:

    The spurs one isn’t bad.

Is that Jadon ‘Chelsea paid money to avoid signing me’ Sancho in there wearing the Chelsea away strip?

This is the only photo I could find and it's pretty poor quality so not that clear.

Anyone know if this website is legit?
I ordered the home Adidas one from them a while back and it arrived but it’s rubbish. Really fake looking. Safe to say it has never/will never be worn.

It's on the 84 team picture, I have one saved but can't upload it,

As a kid I had the next one from 86 with the Green and Black 'triangle' Design.

I bought the white macron away from 17/18 that had green sleeves too, always liked the opposite style of away shirt

It seems like the one I posted above originally with insave never actually existed. Very strange.

Im with you though, love the reverse of the home kit. I think it would be great if we wore that for a full season once in a blue moon as our home kit. Traditionalists would rebel, but variety is the spice of life as Juice Terry used to say.

Any hope of a kit being out before the end of June? Hoping to get tops for me and the kids and Mrs Jones can feel left out.

I’ve got the original 89-91 home shirt and the original 91-92 away shirt.

Here's my pair. I wore the Frank Graham one at the last game of the season. Not wore a strip to a game for over 30 years. Both still in perfect condition.

But lets not kid ourselves and romanticise that Adidas kits today are anything like they were between the 70s and 90s.

I still have my 91-92 home kit which was my first as a child, no idea what it's worth but I can't ever see myself selling it.

Were you in the West Lower? Spied someone in the Frank Graham. looked class!

On the second sentence I think there are plenty of Adidas kits these days on a par with those in the 80s. Aberdeen's recent home ones have all been good and similar to their classics from the 80s. Arsenals also very good, again similar to ones from days gone by. And the Trefoil kits for the elite teams are tremendous.

Ditto. My laddie wore the Skol Cup strip to the last game and I’ve passed all my old ones on to him. They’ll never be sold.

I sit it the East so wasn’t me. I have quite a few different Adidas kits from back in the day including some 80s template strips. They really are a level above whats on offer nowadays. In my opinion obviously. Also have an Anderlecht strip from our 92 European game over there. I’m an Adidas fan but honestly don’t think their football kits are anything like they were 30-40 years ago.

I love old Adidas kits so can really disagree with that, but I still think Adidas are (for the most part) a cut above other manufacturers on strip design these days.

Have Kilmarnock changed their badge? The one on the home kit looks different. Harder to see the away but it looks more like what I recognise as a Killie badge.

Don’t mind that badge. It’s becoming more common in sports now presumably to make teams easily identifiable. Wouldn’t be against us doing something like this for away/3rd kits
