Let’s be honest here, next to nobody doubted that Trump would be in there.

    That is deeply satisfying.

James O’Brien called it months ago, but I don’t think anyone expected it to happen so quickly.

I’m surprised it took so long.

Is it just me or does this fall out between Trump and Musk seem a little bit scripted? Musk distancing himself from Trump so everyone starts buying Tesla again 😂😂

Nothing can save Tesla sales now. Apart from anything else they have taken their eye of the ball and the cars have fallen behind their rivals for quality.
ICE will be knocking at Musk’s door soon.

The latest Trump/Musk circus is music to the ear. The mess is astonishing and it shouldn’t be too long till thick, lemming Republican politicians start using their brains and conscience to consider their personal positions, whether in power or opposition, and consider the error of their ways. I hope I’m not being too premature or optimistic,

Yet months ago Trump's administration were happy to have him access highly confidential social security records and budgets.

Trump is a sociopath, a fraud, a snake oil salesman. His supporters are utter mugs. Musk, I couldn't care less for. Hopefully this ends badly for both parties. Any fool could tell you it would end in tears.

Tesla shares are up over 12 months, up over 2 years and massively up over 5 years. Obviously a bad day but its not the share price collapse some seem to think or want.

Musk wasnt in bed with Trump 12 months ago though. Approx one third of their stock has been wiped out since Trump's inauguration in January. Their shareholders won't be looking at net gains over 5 years! Current factors matter and there's no doubt that is a tanking.

Yip. Focus on their sales. That’s what will do for him when it happens.
The share price is just a massive bet that he’s a genius who will invent his way to riches.

I watched the discussion at the press conference and Trump seemed confused by pretty much everything Merz said.

The D-Day comments seemed to melt Trump's brain. He seemed to think modern Germany would surely regret the Nazi defeat in WWII

He really is thick as ****

When I see Trump I see someone who is a coward a traitor and completely and utterly dense.

Which of the 3 is the biggest I can never really decide.

I don’t think he’s smart enough to be a proper, ideological traitor.

He just looks like an imbecile surrounded by smart people trying to figure out how to get what they want out of an unpredictable toddler who has enormous power but few brain cells.

They've obviously put a lot of time and effort to prepare a case against the guy... with their main motive being to be proven right.

If only they'd put as much time, money and effort into bringing forward credible cases against Epstein's mates.

    Straight from Hitlers playbook.

Ignore democracy and ride roughshod over local politicians and anyone else who gets in the way of dictatorial politics by suspending their ability to oppose or govern.

You're probably aware of this, but it's worth remembering that the very generous plea deal Epstein was offered by the Florida prosecutor gave immunity from prosecution to both named and unnamed co-conspirators.

I think someone tried to challenge that after the investigation that put him away for the second time, but it failed.
