Absolutely brilliant 🤩 seemed a bit odd they were booing her during the game so fair does imo
Ahhhh, so they get back a fraction of what's given out and now it's dummies out of the pram. Classic Sevco.

Comfortable win for Rangers over Glasgow City to win the cup double. Hibs' title win is the story of the season tho.

Yip, we won the big one and have European football to look forward to!

Very healthy crowd outside the Emirates just now (especially for a Monday morning) to welcome Arsenal women's Champions League winners.

Did our women's team get any sort event to mark their title win? I know the numbers likely to attend wouldn't merit a bus parade, but something where young fans can meet the players might have been good.

Hopefully there's some sort of trophy tour round the schools, a bit like the Scottish cup tour.

On a side note i seen my daughters school had QOS woman's team coming in to help with health week this week.

That's good to hear. I watched The Lionesses (documentary about England's Euros win) and you can't overstate how influential it can be for girls to see that they really can make an impact if they want to play football.

I note that Mary Earps is retiring from international football. I think she's a great, inspirational keeper who has really raised the bar in what has historically been a bit of a problem position in women's football. Noa Schumacher has been a standout for Hibs women this season. Unfortunately I think we only had her for a year?

    could be!
I may be about to pass on some information that with rock you to your core.
When I was told this a decade or so ago it left me wondering if anything I thought I knew from my childhood is actually true.
And once you know it and listen to the intro again, you will realise it’s kosher and leave you shocked that you never picked up on this in all those years…there is NOTHING I can rely on from my childhood memories anymore.

I thought it was Clachers we only had for a year? I could be wrong though.

You're right. She was on loan from Glasgow City. Schumacher has already signed a new contract.

From what I saw, Hibs had the 2 best goalies in the league this season.

Totally agree it's great for the younger kids to see what can be achieved, that's why i think a trophy tour would be a great idea (plus we are much closer to Easter Road/HTC than Dumfries)

Lia Tweedie will be a "big loss", says Hibs head coach Grant Scott, after the SWPL champions confirmed the striker will depart this summer.
The 27-year-old has scored 47 goals in 124 appearances across two spells at the club.
Tweedie made her farewell appearance in injury time of the title-winning victory over Rangers and has also won two Scottish Cups and four League Cups with Hibs.
"I want to thank Lia for her outstanding contribution to Hibernian. She is a great person who has deservedly picked up plenty of winners' medals with the club," said Scott.
"From coming through the Hibs academy to performing on the European stage and winning silverware, Lia has always remained a fantastic servant to this club and will be a big loss to the group – both on and off the pitch."

Schumacher was excellent when she came in to replace Clachers.

That is probably a strong hint on Mr Boyles timeline at Hibs too. Good news all round.

I appreciate this, just meant that both having a year was a strong hint that this year may be his last, given their rumoured ambitions to try pastures new.

She went out on loan to Queen's Park in October. Wouldn't be surprised if they offered her first team football as Kathleen and Eilidh have the striker spots pretty much nailed down.
