It wouldn't be a charitable donation, in the legal sense of the term, as we're not a charity.

A donation, though, might be exempt from VAT, unlike a ST. It would be exempt as long as the donor wasn't receiving anything in return.

Buying ST's by the groups you mentioned would still attract VAT for the club.
sorry yes tax efficient in terms of attracting VAT - hadn’t had my coffee tbf we’ve chatted about this for some years now so I should have been more on it :)

Probably can’t be promoted as such but sheesh it’s the way it is. Did you want to give your club a boost and included at 20% boost into their coffers?

the point about the other groups was thjs was a vehicle for getting more cash into the club and that was the appetite and was remarkably successful but it missed the trick imo in maximising the donations. In short there’s only so much appetite but a one off 150 is a different proposition. Will be interesting to see the take up

Not for me... As one that's already purchased my ST for the season ahead and will no doubt travel to all the away games with exception of 4 or 5 and there's funds needed for European travels and with not being a big earner, I feel i'm spending enough of my well earned on Hibs.

For the avoidance of doubt, donations to Hibernian Supporters do not attract VAT or any other tax. We in turn have the means to invest in the Club, again, without attracting Tax.

You may recall that we invested, along with other Shareholders, almost £200,000 into the Club at the start of the season.

You will be hearing a lot from us over the coming weeks/months as we continue our efforts to engage with even more of our fellow supporters.

Is the website down again? I can't get in.

Also, you're either not accepting PMs or your inbox is full. Thanks.
Buy nothing online unless you check for free cashback here first. I've already earned £2,389.68!

You're making your significant contribution already, as are many others with their hard-earned. Chapeau to you all. But there must be a wider target audience for something like this. How many non-ST holders or regular attendees were at the Cup Final in 2016? How many more were converted to becoming stay-at-home Hibbies on the back of that - domestically and around the world? How many came out to show their support and love for the club at the cup parade? That's your target audience for something like this. Granted, a fair proportion of these folks will also be tight for spare readies but there must be many non-ST holders amongst them who would be willing and able to contribute that sort of suggested "one-off" donation .

We are finishing some end of season maintenance on the website, which should be sorted in the next couple of days.

Please try and PM us again - our inbox was full but sorted now.

Yes tbf there was number of poorly laid out strands to my post - which mainly related to a time on Let’s Work Together and before HSL really got into full swing.

We didn’t then but ee absolutely do now have a vehicle in HSL in the purest form of cash injection to the club the most efficient bar I think none. And I do hope the HsL initiatives can be seen in this like.

I'm sure a few would contribute but the vast majority already spend a lot on season tickets and merchandise.

Nice idea but don't see it taking off.
I think it is a great idea, as a lot of our fan base demand that the owners should dig deep to fund better players. This shows our commitment and willingness. As a season ticket holder, I would gladly donate a one-off payment to help our club.

You can do it on the ticketing site already through the 150 club
