Been doing some really good workouts over the last couple of weeks. Finally got back in to the groove of squatting decent weights and for the first time in ages look forward to them.
I asked ChatGPT to critique a bench press pyramid I designed and it took my 1RM (105kg) and designed a hypertrophy block for the 7 weeks we have in the build up to going to Greece in July.
If your struggling for ideas on the gym its worthwhile asking ChatGPT for some ideas. There's lots of apps that I'm sure are very good but expensive."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? Anyone got any real experience of systemic fatigue building up?
I've been hitting things quite hard over the last 3 or 4 weeks, building up to 5 gym sessions - varying lengths, sometimes 20-30 mins up to an hour for more extensive sessions - and about 2-2.5 hours of running per week.
We're going on holiday in less than 3 weeks time, so I figure thats 10 gym sessions and 4-5 hours of running a week left until I take a full week of very minimal activity - there is a gym where we're going but unsure on quality.
I squatted heavy on monday, a shorter, sharper gym session on Tuesday night, with a long run on sunday and shorter one on monday and yesterday I fell asleep in my office chair - just felt this overwhelming urge to sleep."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? had a slight deload this week being away for work for 3 nights. There was a gym in the hotel but only used it the once and did a wee 25 minute treadmill run one of the mornings.
I forget just how claustrophobic and hot gyms can get. It was warm outside but I was sweating buckets after my first 3 or 4 sets.
I think squats and deadlifts are the root of it for me, they take so much out of you that I feel them 3 or 4 days later - but more in a just general knackeredness way than a muscular pain way."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith?
