I’ll be a bit disappointed if Miller goes, he’s done well this season.

To contradict that though, he’s definitely replaceable. At the risk of opening a can of worms, there was talk of Porteous coming back, if we were to sign him to replace Miller that’d be a huge upgrade I think.

He’s far better in that position than O’Hora
He was all over the place in the game at Paisley. OHora may not have his pace - an issue, of course - but Miller is still very raw. When he gets the physicality and pace bit right he's very positive but when he's off it, it's still an issue.

He certainly didn't seem too upset when he appeared at the Hibs First evening.

Glad Hibs activated the clause, if he goes we get money.

Good player, lets see what the summer brings, trust in David Gray and Hibs to get it right.

I see on Twitter hearts have been linked with Josh Mulligan, but then again that was lifted from kickback.

Anyone with a pair of eyes could see he’s a player without needing a computer.

Agree, I think that would improve us in that position. By no means would I be chasing Miller out the door, I think he’s done well at times. If there is anything in the chat that he’d rather be elsewhere then we just sort it out as quickly as we can.

Miller is a players who is falling into the Youan, Vente and Levitt category. All 4 out of contract in 2026, but it's highly likely Vente and Youan will be available for transfer.

Miller and Levitt both came good in recent months, however unless they are offered a contract to stay and accept it, then I'd be happy for the club to offload this summer if offers came in.

I don’t think Levitt is in the same category as them as he’s been exceptional on the park the last few months. If we were to get another season out him like last season but he left for free next summer it wouldn’t be a disaster.

Youann and Vente we don’t know what we’d be getting next season.

Miller been good but still very prone to a brain fart.

Not a great start for McGrath to Hibs career. Clapping and smiling whist sheep fans sing about Hibs falling apart.

Levitt is the only one out of them I'd be keen to keep, and even then I wouldn't class him as irreplaceable.

Miller is just too extreme in his ceiling and floor in terms of his performances; when he's bad he's absolutely terrible (albeit he can be the best player on the park by miles). It's a characteristic that really doesn't suit a defender IMO, and I'd rather have a Lewis Stevenson (or Jack Iredale) type who is 7/10 most weeks than someone who can easily be a 3 as a 10.

    There’s nothing to it.

He’s getting a photo on the balcony, Aberdeen fans start singing it, he turned rounds, lifts the trophy and gives a wee fist pump before walking back inside

He's currently an Aberdeen player and he's laughing off what's clearly a playful rib from Aberdeen fans. He'll be on cloud nine just having won the Scottish Cup.

It'd be very, very sad if anyone were to cast judgment on him on this.

No no no just no. Jamestown has identified this player like every player signing for them any time soon. Any player who signs not using this outstanding (the only one in world by all accounts) analytical system is just not good enough. Well that’s what they say anyway.

He won’t be cheap either even out of contract.

Let’s not forget Sevco had to stump up 640k for Barron who had played 60 times for Aberdeen.

Mulligan has played 95 times for Dundee so would suggest a similar fee?? Well development fee.

Miller wants to leave according to a mate of his I know. Wanted to leave at end of contract and wasn’t particularly pleased we took the option on him apparently.
Well ****ing boo hoo, he signed the contract, he'll just have to accept it.

Only video I’ve seen of this has them singing about shinnie being one of their own, storm in a teacup let the guy enjoy the end of his season and judge him once he starts playing for us

  17. #1786
McGrath has been part of a squad that has just won a Scottish Cup. If he’s enjoying his weekend, who really cares.

Hopefully he’s not regretting his decision now, right enough. Rather than him feeling like he’s missing out on something, hopefully it helps him put that bit extra in to getting us through the qualifiers.

He can still cancel the pre contract agreement with us to stay with the Dons BTW. If done before his current contract ends. Wouldn't like to think he would but has been done before.

Totally, absolutely nothing in it at all.

He’s leaving the fifth best team to move to the third best team on a long term contract. At present, he’s still an Aberdeen player and should enjoy winning the Scottish Cup. Rare that teams out with the uglies win it.

Don’t think that’s the case. Think he’d either need to fail a medical or both parties agree to cancel the pre-contract

And bin a 4 year contract for, erm, nothing as he would be at the mercy of whatever Aberdeen were to offer him (if they offer him.anything)

    These rumours are just crackers.

I dont think he would cancel, He knew the possibilities when he signed plus they ****ed him about with their offer anyway thats why he went elsewhere. I'm actually looking forward to him officially joining and if others are same quality as him we are looking at im happy with that.

Love to know where we fell apart this season?

Because it wasn’t the league cup game at Parkhead
It wasn’t the Scottish cup game at Parkhead
It wasn’t in the various games v Aberdeen.

If anyone fell apart, that would be the sheep, after bottling 2nd place, then 3rd place and finally 4th.
