Above 3 are beatable. All depends on who we keep and our recruitment. Important matches in July is far from ideal as we, like other clubs, will make signing close to the transfer window closing.

I don't think Lugano are potential opponents any more. Could be Young Boys.

I wonder what the Partizan.net summary of Hibs says.

So all 3 were in Europe last year?

Lugano looked to have made the best go of it out of the 3 there.
    Mon the Hibs.

Does anyone know the potential conference league ties. If think it's pretty likely we get beat in the first Europa game so more interested in the conference teams?

I hope you are not going to Europe, given your negative take on almost everything.

No chance we’re winning the Europa league 2nd qualifier.

Not negative just realistic. I'll obviously support hibs with everything I've got. However, young boys are a vastly experienced European side compared to us.

If we were to lose the Europa league 2nd qualifying round, what round of the conference league do we go in to?

You seriously think we’ll beat some of those teams over 2 legs in our first competitive games?

I think our best chance of getting groups is to lose that tie anyway, then get drawn against a team in conference Q3 that we could beat on a good day, but that has a good enough coefficient for us to then be seeded in the play off.

Not sure who we could play that meets that criteria this year, but last year there were sides like omonia, cercle brugge, Astana where that could have worked out

No, you are being hysterical and negative. The draw hasn't even been made and you already have us out. Take a break.

We could easily put out any of those teams over 2 legs, with a bit of luck.

None of them are as good as either of the old firm right now, who we've been showing up well against recently.

Aberdeen managed to beat Frankfurt in the groups a couple of years ago.

Looks at previous years qualifying results and there's always loads of minor upsets and a couple of really big ones

I'm not saying we will, I'm also not saying we have no chance. We've always got a chance.

Exactly. We can beat any of these teams at ER. Away games will be very difficult no doubt. But it's like saying we'd have no chance against Rangers over 2 legs. Absolute nonsense.

We’ve beaten Celtic and Rangers this season, who in turn would be expected to prevail against any team on this list.

The fact that we play home and away makes it harder but this ‘no chance’ chat is wrong.

    We absolutely have a chance.

So we'd have no chance against Rangers who have beaten teams like these in the past 2 seasons?

We unfortunately don’t carry the luck though do we. Our best league season in years yet we get undone by Celtic losing a final against that Aberdeen team. McGregors first ever loss in a final and Rodgers first defeat at Hampden. Only when hibs are involved eh

Some of the jokers on this thread have convinced me that taking a break from posting until the draw is made, is a good idea.

If we win the Europa league qualifier at the stage we enter are we guaranteed group stage football in either the Europa or conference?
