Congratulations to all of the MSPs who had the courage to vote for the first stage of the Bill.

A difficult decision but one that allows for greater scrutiny at the next stages rather than kill the Bill at an early stage.

Now becoming law in England and Wales after today's Westminster vote.

Can't remember what the majority in favour was at the first stage of the Holyrood bill but I imagine it will likely be closer at the next vote, similar to Westminster.

As it stands currently, only medical professionals willing to participate would be involved.

Regardless, still not an easy decision to make I'd guess.
