I’m sure our hooped kit this year will be a lot better than that…

Celtic one looks like this seasons plus usual sponsor colours and placement make it look worse.

I’m always disappointed that Celtic hijacked the black as a third colour , our kits on the eighties and early nineties looked nice with a wee bit of black trim

Agree the black trim on our kits really makes certain bits stand out. Hope we bring it back soon

Not for me, I prefer the simplicity of green and white, without compromising our colours

What does "authentic" mean and why is it so much more expensive?

Its what the players wear, seems to be more common over hear now but was a very american thing where you get an authentic jersey or a replica.

Dunno, could it mean it is exactly the same as what the players wear and the other isn't authentic

Different / more expensive material I would expect - seems common in quite a few clubs now.

The price for football kits these days are ridiculous.

I think the dye has ‘run’ at the bottom. I would take that back.

Why is the collar different on the authentic one?

Surely a replica is a replica of the top the players will wear?

Looks like a tshirt you’ve done the plastering in, their northern lights one was a belter should have just done a few variations of that

Know the current deal has a bit to run, a legacy of Kensell.

But would be great to get back to Adidas. Those home & away kits of the late 80's were the best Hibs kits since the one from the 1970s tornadoes.

I don't disagree that those kits were excellent, iconic strips.

However - the stripes on the sleeves. I'm not a fan at all. I know some of the mock ups done on here have looked great but I don't think they work, look at the Celtic kits on this thread. Iconic strip but black stripes on the sleeves cheapen it for me, which is ironic given how much they cost.

Kits are expensive enough but the premium a brand like adidas would have would make them even more so.

Those kits were absolute classics and were appreciated by not just Hibs fans, but also kit aficionados. I cant believe we have 5 more years of Joma

There was a 3 pound difference between the Adidas Aberdeen shirt (£68) and the Hibs Joma top (£65) at the start of this season.......

    So more then?

No fair point, I didn't look at other teams and saw the price of the Celtic top above.

The gap was reduced by the premium for every Hibs shirt (except the 2014/15 nonsense).
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Simple really. To force you into buying the 'real' top. Lots of fans consider a replica to just be a step up from what you would find in a stall in turkey.
