    I admire Ronnie as a player and like him in interviews but can’t help but feel he’s a bit of a throbber when at the table.

    Watched most of it eailer on, some really nice potting from Xintong.

    Everything seemed to be going for him with a few remarkable flukes, hoping Williams can win the first of the evening session to get at least another frame in but like you say running out of steam.

    What was he banned for? I read that he was one of 8 Chinese players banned, but that he wasn’t guilty of fixing any matches. Article was very vague of what he was banned for, presumably not reporting the approach.

    It's hard to work out what actually went on, from what I can see he did bet on matches, although not necessarily his own, that he may have known to be fixed. But agree it's very difficult to work out what he did.

    Either way he's come through qualifying and hammered O'Sullivan along the way, so would be a deserving winner unless you are wanting a life ban for said vague offences

    He got done with adding and abetting fixing. Yan Bingtao fixed his matches, but knew he couldn't bet on them, so Zhao put the bets on. He didn't fix his own matches but helped it happen
