Deflect deflect, sounds like their problems lie at more than just manager level.

Sure their fan owner committee men will sort it all out though

Distinct lack of gratitude when you consider he was taking Hearts where they belong.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Spot on. They are in a relegation battle now mind you! Liam fox still involved gives us all hope
    Yup!!

I get why sacked Critchley, he was never the right man for them. But to think that Fox will do any better kinda feels like frying pan / fire.

They'll end up with Robbo, or someone like Ian McCall.

Strange decision when they can still win the bottom six championship. Of course I don't know what big teams do with their algorithms these days.

Don’t be surprised if Shelley Kerr is interim appt. Budge has been keen to get her chum more involved and wants to be an innovator in the men’s game.

They might as well sack the next manager now if that’s going to be the deal breaker.

An interim management team with four games to go is not going to stabilise them. In a fan controlled club there has to be a transparent decision making period that involves all the stakeholders so they're not going to appoint a permanent boss until next season. If the management have tapped someone up behind the scenes the fan owners will have been left in the dark. So I can't see how this helps create a sense of purpose between the owners and management (football and commercial)

The owners appoint a board and executive team to run the club. They don’t have to ask the fans about decisions.

The fans only provide the money.

Of course but there fan directors on the board presumably with significant voting rights who will by law have to have the same rights as the non fan directors. If fan ownership is to mean anything then fans need to have a majority of votes on the board. Do Hearts fans (who claim to have the majority of the shares) not have the majority of votes on the board and executive decision making?

This’ll give Jamestown pick of the manager and players. They better hope they get it right.

Don’t think there’s many singing praises of their new players

If so they need a better governance model.

I doubt any real thought was given to how the club was to be run other than a couple of guys being elected to represent FOH in non executive directorships while Mrs. Budge and her allies bankrolled by James Anderson plough on.

Are The Owners actually shareholders in the club?

It’s a shame he wasn’t given time to build a squad to get them out of the Championship in a few seasons.

Was rather hoping for a Butcheresque drop into the playoff place. Does this make it more or less likely?

Disappointing. But it doesn't change the fact Hearts go up to Ross County next, and only 5pts clear of them in 11th.

Panic has set in at the pub team.

Canny wait for them to lose in Dingwall next week too… 💩💩💩
