    Captains this season

One thing i realised earlier was the amount of captains we have had this season, can only be a good thing that Gray trusts all these guys and see’s so many as leaders

    Newell
    Boyle
    Ohora
    Gayle
    C Cadden
    Obita?

    Possibly another i cant recall

Hoilett has been a captain at one point too.

I’m trying to remember who ended the Dundee game as captain after Boyle and then Chris Cadden had gone off - Gayle maybe?

Gayle got the armband last home game I think towards the end of the game when Boyle was off.

Was Rocky not capitano also - mibby on his 100th game? Sure has worn the badge for even part of a game.

In the event of the Captain going off, I always thought that the armband was just lobbed over to whoever was nearest on the way off.

Is there a proper pecking order for such scenarios?

The fact is, we now have a team of captains on and off the pitch. It’s a joy to behold.

I think on field captains have been slightly over egged at times. There will be an element of seniority in teams of course and some players will lead by example, but they don't always need an armband to do it. For me the bulk of a Club Captains work is actually off the pitch instead of on it.

I thought Rocky had the armband briefly at one point as well, might be wishful thinking on my part.
