Maybe it was but tbh he could and probably should have had a second yellow way before it. Maybe the second was as a result of an accumulation of fouls??

Tbh couldn’t have been happier for him.
Shankland and Shinnie should also have been booked and Devlin could have had been booked on numerous occasions and for persistent fouling. He just goes around battering into players for the whole game week after week. The little 💩 deserves everything he gets. 😂

He’s just not very good and uses his aggression to try and intimidate the opponent then plays the victim.

Long may he continue to start for them.

Just think about it for a minute, they pay Devlin money for being a footballer jeez. A headless chicken that runs about kicking and pulling people, when he isn't falling over.

It's the cheat, foul, repeat until you're booked model that Levein so loved and despite having their super duper computer picking managers and players this is still what they're getting for all that money.....

Devlin is a pound shop Alex McDonald, but at least McDonald could play a bit but was over indulged by refs because of the colour of jersey he wore.

Devlin doesn’t have that luxury, so unlike McDonald if he leaves his foot in after every tackle he runs the risk of being censured by refs, but then he’s maybe not bright enough to realise that.

I saw somewhere through the week, one them saying since 2012 they’d only ever lost at Hampden to either of the old firm… must have forgotten about st mirren beating them in a league cup final there

Feigning injury to get the Dons player booked then springing up and squaring him up (once all his mates could help him obviously) didn’t help. He’s a terrible over rated football player who pundits cream over because they’re all from an age where putting a foot in and running about a lot like a crazed Duracell bunny makes you somehow a “standout”. He cheats, dives, is incredibly limited technique wise and he wouldn’t make our match day squad Aldo. He’s a poor Tom Taiwo and that’s saying something.
I find it quite bizarre that my Hearts chums are astonished when I say he is pish.

Need to remember it’s the Diddy Cup and they are the only team in Scotland that thinks it’s irrelevant due to their special relationship with the Big Team Cup!

Proud that Shankland was the first Hearts player to go off with cramp. Testament to his fitness levels. Also, Liam the BBC commentator as sheep fan. The threads are hilarious.Enjoy the Jambo tears. I have a feeling this may last a while.

The poorest quality Scottish Cup semi final of all time
Watched most of it. The standard was abysmal.

Having said that,.there's no way Aberdeen were winning that game.11v11. They are rank rotten. Hearts were marginally less crap.

There's no certainties in any game of football of course, but in our current form, we should win easily next Saturday.

So proud of him. He worked so so hard. Bigly worked hard so he had to sub himself off and then we lose the vital goal and get demoted from the Cup.

Malfunctioning but analytics will it sort sure i am

Gave up watching after the first half. Two poor sides, but hopefully Hearts can push on to win the bottom 6 title this year.

Other than v Hibs it's the first time this season I've watched a full game with either of those two. How bad were they? Hertz were probably the better of the two considering they were down to 10 but Aberdeen? Slow, lacking ideas etc. Very poor performance.

    Tough Luck Hearts

What is a “proper Hearts performance?”

Critch’d it mentions this in his post match interview.

The guy is a quality gaslighter.

O and we’ve still got a lot to play for?

Only 6 points above play off spot so I suppose he's not wrong, they've got loads to play for 😁

That one shot on target is never enough when the other side score 2. The commentary made this sound like a heroic performance by the 9 men, maybe 8 would have done better.

Heroic performance my a*se. More like bed sh*tting. Couldn't turn a dominant 1st half into a lead and then clinging on for penalties from the 43rd minute. If that was us the media would have a field day about how we'd bottled it.

  28. #57
It was a proper hearts performance

2 red cards - one checked & rightly upheld by VAR - for kicking opponents

A support obsessed with ticket sales who trudged out of Hampden beaten & hearing "HEARTS, HEARTS ARE FALLING APART AGAIN" ringing round Hampden

A captain literally unfit to wear his shirt

    Hoofball
