Gave up watching after the first half. Two poor sides, but hopefully Hearts can push on to win the bottom 6 title this year.

Indeed. Hearts were all over them and had all the best chances in the game with their 1 shot on target according to Hurtzsound. Fortune has truly abandoned them this season. They're the best team in Europe and will undoubtedly go past Celtic and Rangers next season if they don't change anything.

Hearts fans on twitter think they were unlucky, plucky, cheated. They left everything on the pitch.

Personally I thought Hearts were Lillian Gish against a very poor Aberdeen team on the day.

Reminiscent of Maloney’s last game. All the effort but a lack of skill and discipline all over the pitch.

One shot on target in 120+ minutes, it's what big teams do at Hampden.

That was a ridiculous second yellow for Devlin to be fair.

Seen at least two posts on twitter from Hearts fans claiming Baningime was outstanding. They have seriously overrated him since he signed for Hearts - did absolutely nothing of note in that game, it's bizarre.

Is the commentator on bbc a jambo? Liam something? Sounded like he was begging for it to go to penalties and when Shankland scored he sounded absolutely ecstatic

I think the Jambo holidaying in Bulgaria needs to step on to his balcony, open the wine and led the tears flow. Then the glorious celebrations can begin.

I’d be fuming if that happened to a Hibs player.

    As it is though…

Waiting for Anne Budge’s campaign for a rematch to be launched tomorrow… ‘for the good of Scottish football’.

We might laugh at them, but have you seen just how luxurious the coaches taking them home from yet another Hampden defeat are?

Maybe it was but tbh he could and probably should have had a second yellow way before it. Maybe the second was as a result of an accumulation of fouls??

Tbh couldn’t have been happier for him.

Feigning injury to get the Dons player booked then springing up and squaring him up (once all his mates could help him obviously) didn’t help. He’s a terrible over rated football player who pundits cream over because they’re all from an age where putting a foot in and running about a lot like a crazed Duracell bunny makes you somehow a “standout”. He cheats, dives, is incredibly limited technique wise and he wouldn’t make our match day squad Aldo. He’s a poor Tom Taiwo and that’s saying something.

Once they had the player sent off that was their aim. Not to play any football but to continually foul and stop the flow of any sort of football.

He regularly gets away with it and I have zero sympathy for him or any of them today. He gives it out but cannot take it.

That one shot on target is never enough when the other side score 2. The commentary made this sound like a heroic performance by the 9 men, maybe 8 would have done better.

All is Barry’s player ratings in the EEN are astounding. Mostly 7 and 8s

Hardly made any chances when on top. Shame. Devlin is the poor man’s Kenny Black.

Just think about it for a minute, they pay Devlin money for being a footballer jeez. A headless chicken that runs about kicking and pulling people, when he isn't falling over.

It's the cheat, foul, repeat until you're booked model that Levein so loved and despite having their super duper computer picking managers and players this is still what they're getting for all that money.....
