    Conrad Logan

9 years ago today he became a Hibs legend with his unbelievable performance against Dundee United.

Without him we would never have won the cup.

    Thanks, big man.

Great spot. I challenge any Hibs fan, seeing him for the first time, to say they didn’t say something along the lines of WTF. I sure did. Man is an absolute legend now though. 😃

The day is saved in my calendar never to be forgotten.

As good a time as any to give this another blast.

Couldn’t make the game due to work caught the build up on the radio and the comments were very derogatory about his size and I believe the TV was the same. The image of Hibs fans getting to their feet and giving him a standing ovation after making a save is one you can never forget. Legend.

4 crucial (and difficult) saves in the 120 minutes and 2 pen saves.
Even l’equipe would call that a 10/10 performance.

In an unbelievable coincidence this game clashed with the Proclaimers concert at Sydney Opera House which many Sydney based Hibbies had booked tickets for long before Hibs qualified for the semi final.

I remember a taxi dash after the concert from the Opera House to the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel, arriving at half time….

Mine too. Got married that day. Glued to my phone 20 seconds before the wife walked down the aisle as we won the penalty shootout. If we'd had Oxley in nets, I might never had made it to "I do"

That is absolutely fantastic first time seen that

His performance that day was on par with Andersson vs huns 04 cis Cup semi.

Marciano vs celtic in the league that Sunday game we drew with them was up there.

And Andy Goram on a weekly basis

Unfortunately I was too young for Andy Goram. I do remember him for huns.

Gave up my ticket for the game, my rugby team (Portobello) had to win the last game of the season to avoid relegation. If I'd gone to the game and we'd lost I'd always blame myself a bit.

Extra time half time when we went out for the warm-up, quick check of the phone when we were back in the changing rooms and saw we won on pens.

Adrenaline from making the final saw me have probably my best game of the season, played 79 mins at prop, and we won and stayed up.

Was quite the night back at the clubhouse......

    Here he is

"I did not need any persuasion to play for such a great club, the Hibs result is still one of the first I look for"

He'll forever be remembered for the penalty saves but his performance in the first half alone was legendary! He made 3 or 4 absolutely top drawer saves.

Never seen a debut for Hibs like that in my life!

Further to a post I made on another thread ...... Has Conrad ever returned to Easter Road since he left? It would be a nice touch to our 150th celebrations to get that 2016 team back together for an appearance at Easter Road.

Though the way Anthony Stokes life has gone in subsequent years we might have to arrange a jail break
