Not all of us live in the city. I always time it so I head up the tunnel right on FT so I can make it back to the car and drive the hour it takes home before 7 so I can help put my daughter to bed.
You do you though.

Let’s face it, there are design flaws in the East stand. These lead to some people wanting to leave early, some people getting their views blocked by people leaving early and some people higher up in the stand who stay to the final whistle waiting for ages and ages to walk down the steps. Early departures can’t be good for player morale, but it’s not all the fault of the fans.
I find it hard to believe it is a good evacuation speed in an emergency. The whole situation is not great, and it’s a long term annoyance unless something is done about it.

I always stay to the end, always have, always will no matter what the result. I like to get my moneys worth. If I’ve paid for 90 minutes I’m watching for 90 minutes.
What others do is none of my business though. Each to their own. Some people travel a fair distance to ER, up to them how they manage their time.Every gimmick hungry yob,

I always leave midweek games early so I can catch the off sales for the train home.

They should actually charge extra if the game goes past 90m - the ST is based on a 90m game and we’re getting close to 10m per game extra.
Probably too difficult to refund if you leave early though.

The last game of the season at home to Sevco, I will have to leave early as I have somewhere I need to be at 4, meaning I have to get out, drive home, get changed, then get to where I need to be, even though usually I would stay to the very end of every game.
People can (and do) leave when it's convenient to them, I am half way up the east (near the start of the "H") and even then at full time it rakes a bit of time.

Doors locked 5 minutes before kick off and remaining so until 5 minutes after the FT whistle blows so that due appreciation/booing can be administered. Anyone unable to commit to such or who does not provide a reasonable explanation in writing at least 14 days before the fixture should just stay away.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. People have always left early and I remember people streaming out from the East before the end when it was terracing and crowds were much lower. So there's various reasons. My exiting routine is if the board goes up to say 4 minutes additional time I'll start to make my exit after 2. Usually get down to the bottom for the final whistle and saves a lot of time which as an impatient old sod greatly helps my matchday experience

People actually getting upset that other fans decide to leave a bit early. Tragic.
I suppose with how well we are doing on the park you'll always get some folk who will find something to moan about.

I sort of see where OP is coming from, but fans are more than entitled to leave whenever they like. I left at half time a few times earlier in the season.
I sit in the east and usually leave around the 90 minute mark, if I stayed till full time it would take me an extra 20/25 minutes to get out the ground, then there’s the crowds and traffic trying to get home. There’s also the idiots that stand at the exits and block everyone else from getting out.
