    Next Season Sponsors

AG BARR were also formed in 1875. Another great Scottish brand whose Irn Bru adverts are funny & controversial.

Could see them coming up with some good adverts for us while having a dig at our rivals.

We’ve just posted losses of over £7m, we can’t be turning down one of our biggest sources of income.

Is it one of the biggest? Genuine question as surprised if Bevvy ploughed that much into it.

No idea... but I would have thought it be in the low hundreds of thousands in terms of value. At the same time, not sure if/how Bevvy would have coughed that up.

Small in terms of the wider gate receipts, hospitality, and prize money, but presumably the largest of the ancillary revenue streams.
    Mon the Hibs.

I'd go with the latter to acknowledge our origin.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Always fancied 7 up as sponsors. I used to have a green t shirt with ‘make 7’ on the front and ‘up yours’ on the back. Wore it to the 6-2 game and despite the cold if we had got a 7th I was going to take my jacket etc off and wave the shirt in the air. If 7 up became shirt sponsors after that, together with the 0-7 result, it would have made those shirts the best seller of all time.

In Scotland AG Barr sells more irn-bru than coca cola yet they still aren't the Countries biggest bottlers. Remarkable!
