I think I read somewhere they've retained two choices for the final two match weeks - they'd have to pick a bottom six Sunday game for instance, but don't know where best to place it yet. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Still, you're right, what an absolutely stinking TV deal where not one of the Hibs-Aberdeen/United fixtures are televised.

A draw would be fine away to Aberdeen. A win would be incredible especially if Celtic beat Dundee United.

More than happy with how the fixtures have worked out. Think we play Rangers and Celtic at good times in the split and while we have a 3pt lead over United and Aberdeen get them out the way early.

As you say, going to the same venue three times in the league is just plain wrong.

My final points total guess based on the fixture list is:
Hibs 59
Dundee United 57
Aberdeen 54

That seems like an excellent result tbh?
A win at pittodrie pretty much seals it imo, but a draw is ok. And even a loss would be a blow but given our goal difference it means we only have to match them after that to get over the line.
Pleasantly surprised by how things have fallen.

Beat Dundee United at home plus avoiding defeat to Aberdeen and St Mirren will be enough for 3rd in my opinion. We would likely be 3 points ahead of 4th with a healthy goal difference going into the final game.

Delighted with that. I was worried I would be working for a few of them but asked to photograph the Dons game, should be able to get back for Utd game in time and then free for the others. Great result for Hibs and me.

Good that we’re playing Celtic after they will have the league wrapped up. Certainly improves our chances of getting something.

The BBC have us and Motherwell down as ending up with 20 away games and 18 home, can't find the split online to confirm this but reading above that is wrong?

Happy with that... what a potential prize.
Beat the Dons and create a record 18 unbeaten and with Untd likely beaten By Celtic looking to close out a title party pretty much wrap up 3rdLast edited by Up-the-slope; 14-04-2025 at 03:43 PM.

Cheers, I couldn't find one online, but assumed it was wrong as we still had Tynecastle to go to, if they weren't languishing in the bottom half :-)
The BBC sports coverage is abysmal these days.
It does look right for Motherwell mind, so I assume another team are benefitting.Last edited by Jock O; 14-04-2025 at 03:44 PM.

Stick Dundee Utd fans high up in the south too. They put us now in the worst away section in the premiership, antiqued shed behind the goals

Yeah, Motherwell fans are the losers - they have only 18 home games and 20 away.
St Mirren get 20 home games.

I said on Saturday win 2 games or don't lose to either of the other 2 and we are nearly there so probably not the worst order, although slightly miffed as visiting my Aberdeen supporting mate on 03/05 so was hoping for HIbs up there that day.

Aberdeen will come after us like demons at Pittodrie. They'll want to end our run and they know a win is essential if they're to stand a chance of 3rd.
Bring it on! Our pace filled side will have a field day on the counter attack

We're a better side than Aberdeen, doesn't always mean you'll win a game, but if they come at us hell for leather it will work in our favour.

Will take those fixtures, get 6 points in the first two then 3rd should be, teams will drop points somewhere.
Huns last game should be a cracker and one i hope we have reduced their allocation.
