He'll be doing well to hang onto his current states let alone acquiring more.

His threats to Panama, Greenland, Canada and Mexico are being taken very seriously though.

Hold firm this time Donald. Americans need to experience the very real pain this will bring in order to prevent them being this stupid again.

I see the market are tanking again.

Just as the stock market was showing *slight* signs of recovery too.

I know very little about finance or economics, but this is the third time in a week that he's made harmful announcements affecting the markets. If this isn't deliberate destruction, does somebody who DOES know about finance and /or economics have an alternative suggestion (apart from him being stupid / mad / showing off his power 'cos he can)?

I think you're right. And I think it needs to happen quickly so that people a) notice and b) are able to link cause and effect. Otherwise it'll be just like the last time with people becoming gradually inured to the increasing damage, corruption and ridiculousness.

I don’t think it will ever get to that. Trump would be hounded out long before that stage.

They can but Canada can do it cheaper. Good for both parties.

Is it illegal, as Trump claims, to boycott Tesla?

I must have missed that Executive Order.

He’s maybe introduced some sort of ‘treason’ Executive Order.

If you ask nicely he will be only to happy to get his special big signature pen out, set up the TV cameras and issue the order.

No need for any of that cabinet or house of representatives or Senate input nonsense and it's unlikely his wee sidekick will overrule him on this one.

I’ve seen this picture of the South African Fascist umpteen times and, every time, it shocks and angers me. Wealth aside, how does this excuse for a human being become the second most important person in the USA, the Land of Freedom and Opportunity.

Impressive. Maybe corporate America would take even more interest if Ford found themselves similarly affected?

Ford is already sruggling badly with the EV market, around $5bn losses last year and the same the year before. They're scaling things back on EVs.

Another bit of Trump related loss of market share and earnings might be just what the doctor (DOGER) ordered then.
