    It’s horrible that Rangers winning is what we need to put up with for the coefficient but if the side effect of that is the difference between group stage football to not for Hibs one day then it’s sadly a good thing.

    Also if they win one of the two legs but go out on aggregate, that becomes win win.

    Exactly. Scottish football is likely to remain a two horse race (or a one horse race with rangers clear second) indefinitely.

    At least with a strong coefficient the best of the rest in 3rd is a very meaningful prize and even 4th and 5th get a bit of European fun.

    Take that away and we’re playing for nothing.

    Who cares?….. … the coefficient is what it is ……… I, like what I hope most non old firm supporters do, enjoy the immediacy of games and want to see them both get cuffed every time. But just you go ahead and enjoy watching these ugly sisters win, getting richer and further away from the rest of us …….. if only to slightly enrich the less fortunate Scottish teams who occasionally get a taste of European football.
