Block Seven lads - do us all a favour and keep your Palestine flags and anti-Israel banners at home. I don't really care what your opinions are on that subject, keep it away from the football.
We aren't Celtic, we have no desire to be Celtic so please stop trying to make us look like some sad virtue-signalling tribute act.

Totally agree, it is a bit cringe. If we qualify for Europe next season, I hope this is cut out. I think the club could be punished by UEFA for that sort of thing.

Completely agree …… with Block seven. A people are being brutalised and driven from their homes. Good on these youngsters to protest about it.

We all have our own views on this but don't bring it into our own place of worship.

The problem with bringing politics into football is
who determines the politics of an entire support?
we can’t even agree to stick or twist on Rocky…
also means that it won’t take too much to infiltrate an impressionable group and turn it to something few want. Just look at what happened to the Hearts support.
There are noble causes - even then who determines? - but where do you draw the line.
Interestingly enough Socrates (great captain of Corinthians and Brazil fame) stood up against the dictatorship. We’ve seen the NFL and others “take the knee” over Black Lives Matter. I think there is a role but it would need to be more than a token gesture which I think it became."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

If they want to support it, go over there and be the difference, then they will be educated.

Whether it belongs at a football match is of course a different debate, but I think a little more insight is required than that being provided by comments like your own above.

We had all this a week or so ago. There were people unwilling to discuss it in a civil manner then and I doubt much has changed in the interim. No one is going to change their mind on the situation anyway so it just becomes a tedious circular discussion that causes aggro for the sake of aggro.
