Great win for Engerland but no great shakes. France off day today. Opens the Championship up nicely. Now over to Scotland.

Ridiculous amount of handling errors from France.

What a match at Twickenham. Lots of dropped balls in the first half but full-on rugby after the break. Fantastic.

We won’t mention your Wales prediction.

If we take the anti-English specs off, that’s a good result for Scotland. Opportunity to become the only unbeaten team in the tournament tomorrow. France and England didn’t impress at all, could be a monumental win if we can pull it off.

A very big if, mind you!

took their time then advantage after advantage then finally a Try Ireland after 7 mins 0-7

scotland quite rightly continuing to argue with the referee after that restart, htf is a scotland player supposed to put in a challenge when the irish player is blocking them

van der merwe sin bin after 13 minutes

great defence stops another irish try, for now

Scotland players getting a tad miffed with Nigel Owens

Townsend as head coach has lost every game against Ireland, yes they're world no.1 but jeez we make it bloody easy for them.

Don’t understand the DVM yellow card ball was in touch before the nudge

What's "in touch"? The balls in the try scoring area at the nudge is it not? If anything that feels it should be more serious...

    Playing(defending) well with 14 though!

    This is a bit ****.

The kick forward hit the touch line before it went over the try line

How many blocked kicks are they going to have, really poor performance so far.

it didn't hit the touch line

Can't be bothered going back to check but, I think that is very unlikely to be the case, apologies if I'm wrong.

Hate to sound a bit football-ish here but the ref isn’t doing us any favours. Every 50/50 is going against us.

Don’t get me wrong we are absolutely *ish.

Can’t be any worse in the second half.

Get the first try and game on

Is there a case for Farrell putting this Irish side into the Lions en masse?
