Planes returning immigrants to Colombia refused permission to land so Trump imposes 25% tariffs on the country along with other sanctions. As well as his “taking Greenland” plan and his “cleaning up Gaza” and moving the Palestinians to other countries in the Middle East, he’s riling up a lot of people. Dangerous individual and this is just the start.

Aye, mind when he campaigned on being the “peace president”?

Threatened Greenland, Canada and Panama before he even took office.

As a side note, the Arabs for Trump or whatever they’re called must be delighted with their endorsement.

Indeed, careful what you wish for and all that. Absolute clowns. I suspect many more folk over there will be regretting the way they voted fairly soon.

Of course he doesn’t. I was curious about how they would be feeling, not him.

Columbias president backs down and says he will send the Colombian planes to pick up the migrants. Trump will feel big, but I doubt China or EU will be as painless

I can’t see that? All I’m seeing is Colombia has announced 25% tariffs on the US?
Big opportunity for the EU and China.

It is Austrian. Their number plates are formatted that way. Includes the emblem of the region the car is registered to.

Murillo said he will travel to Washington in the coming days to “follow up on the agreements”, though did not mention the substance of the accord. He also said that the Colombian presidential plane would be made available to facilitate the arrival of the migrants denied entry on Sunday

I don’t think the problem was the deportations. Colombia has been accepting flights from ICE. The problem was they would not accept military flights with Colombians held in chains for performative reasons. Pretty sure that position hasn’t changed?

Colombia backs down on deportation flights after Trump tariffs threat

The US will not go ahead with tariffs on Colombia, after Bogota agreed to accept - without restrictions - deported migrants, the White House says.

Donald Trump had ordered 25% tariffs on all Colombian goods after its president barred two US military deportation flights from landing in the country on Sunday.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro had initially responded by saying his country would accept repatriated citizens on "civilian planes, without treating them like criminals".

A White House statement says Colombia has now agreed to accept migrants arriving on US military aircraft "without limitation or delay".

Nothing to do with Trump. It's mainly because a Chinese company said they can produce AI chips with same power as US chips significantly cheaper (or something like that) so Nvidia is down the most.

If you have a pension that's invested you might not be so happy.... most are likely invested in tech somewhere.

I think it shows that you can do more with less, thus hardware and energy requirements may be lower long term. Additionally, they're operating in an open-source way.
