Aye, some week for him. And adds to his Scottish Open victory recently as well. I'd imagine he'll be ranked #1 in the world soon.

Well done to Scotland's Julie Forrest (Ladies single win), Beth Riva (Ladies runner up, and Mixed Pairs winner), and Mike Stepney (Open Pairs winner alongside Jason) on their week too.

Only the daft Masters comp not won by a Scot.

Ridiculous that they scrapped the U25’s st Potters in favour of some daft made up masters competition. A fantastic week of viewing and history made by the amazing Jason Banks. One of my favourite times of the year is the televised event at Potters. Some mistake by the umpirei in the final, picking the white out of the ditch and placing it on the respot when it wasn’t actually out of the rink confines. 😂

Banks was almost flawless in the final, bar that 4 he lost he was well in control. I missed most of this tourney as the advertising is ****, no wonder bowls is so underrated in comparison to some of the other well advertised sports, Im sure the break dancing at the recent Commonwealth games was broadcast more 🤬
