Glasgow will host Leicester Tigers in their first ever European knock-out match
if they win that they will face the winner of Leinster v Harlequins, i suspect that will be Leinster and in Dublin, but IF Harlequins win it would be Glasgow v Harlequins.
Edinburgh will host The Lions at the Hive on Friday April 4th as they look to avenge October's League Hammering, Edinburgh were 48-0 down by HT, a league record interval deficit with The Lions winning 55-21.
IF Edinburgh win they will be back at the Hive for the QF against the winner of the last 16 game between Bayonne and The Bulls.
elsewhere, this years six nations will have 20-min red cards with sides able to replace the dismissed player after the 20 mins.
Wales will close the roof for all fixtures over the next two years at the principality, saying it will guarantee conditions, maintain consistency for players(home ones obviously) and improve the fan experience, OK
Saracens' Fergus Burke has been named in the Scotland squad for the six nations, the New Zealand born stand-off says he turned down an approach from England, he's eligible for Scotland through a grandfather from Glasgow.

FT Scarlets 30 Edinburgh 24, too many penalties lost
FT Glasgow 22 Connacht 19
Glasgow's 2nd string hold out against the Irish side unfortunately no try bonus point though, think they said 16 players away with Scotland, it's a pity players being away really weakens some sides for their club games, deserved motm for scrum-half Ben Afshar he had a great game , Glasgow facing the wind and rain in the 2nd half horrible conditions
south African sides get the benefit of playing more or less full sides whilst the Northern Hemisphere sides suffer due to the six nations.

I don’t understand how Finn Russell was playing for Bath when all the English players for Bath where away to an English training camp?
Especially given the big injuries Scotland have just had

That he's playing outside of his union country (i.e., in England) means the SRU have no power or ability to mandate whether he can or cannot play in the same way that the domestic Scotland players were all stood down this weekend.
Some really puzzling call-ups to deal with the injuries we're experienced in the last 2 weeks. I hadn't even heard of Alex Makibasa until this morning! It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

Number 8 Alexander Maskibaka called into the Scotland Six Nations squad. Bit of an unknown quantity and born in Australia. His mum's from Paisley I gather.

We’ve traditionally had Italy last or second last. All the other teams get a good wee confidence booster against Italy first and then onto the main opposition.
Nice see confidence booster against Italy. At home to the current champions on a high (hopefully), twickenham where we’ve done well recently, wales who are absolute humpty just now and then the tournament favourites away for the grand slam. We beat france last time in Paris.
Iys a tough task but we’ve shown we can compete with the best. The squad are experienced and in their peak.
Fixtures have fallen kindly.
I’m as optimistic as I’ve ever been……until we lose a try in the firsy 5 mins against Italy 🤣

Ireland in particular have had our number for a good few years now.
France and Ireland are capable of beating everyone, so really we want to be beating both of them and can afford a loss against either Wales, England or Italy."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? No idea how Hamish Watson isn't getting in that Scotland squad. He still looks an excellent player to me

Keep getting thrown by the non-Welsh co comm (showing my ignorance of rugby here). First few words every time he speaks, he sounds like Stuart Lovell and I'm immediately going "what's he doing there?". Every time!

Emphatic win for France but strangely I didn’t think they played that well. Some individual brilliance scored tries but Ireland will be a far sterner test

Nah, that France team looked scary when they did get going. Hard to fully say how good of course, as Wales were awful.
It would be classic Scotland though for Wales to rock up to Murrayfield in March and beat usIt's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
