if they win that they will face the winner of Leinster v Harlequins, i suspect that will be Leinster and in Dublin, but IF Harlequins win it would be Glasgow v Harlequins.


Edinburgh will host The Lions at the Hive on Friday April 4th as they look to avenge October's League Hammering, Edinburgh were 48-0 down by HT, a league record interval deficit with The Lions winning 55-21.

Why should Bath care? They pay his salary, and can use him as they see fit.

That he's playing outside of his union country (i.e., in England) means the SRU have no power or ability to mandate whether he can or cannot play in the same way that the domestic Scotland players were all stood down this weekend.

Some really puzzling call-ups to deal with the injuries we're experienced in the last 2 weeks. I hadn't even heard of Alex Makibasa until this morning!

I see from next season the 6NC will lose a rest weekend so it will be played over 6 weeks rather than 7 (likely 3 games/rest/2 games). From the outset of the 6NC (2000) England pushed for 5 consecutive weekends but this was resisted by Scotland and others who had less strength in depth and needed the rest weekends for recovery of their fewer key players. How things change. Whilst we will/would still miss key players like Tuipoluto or Russell, we've as much strength in depth as anyone else so I don't think dropping to 6 weekends (or maybe even 5 in the long term) is the problem it would have been for us back in the early Noughties.

Quite happy with that, feel the extra week really drags out what should be a short, snappy tournament.

We’ve traditionally had Italy last or second last. All the other teams get a good wee confidence booster against Italy first and then onto the main opposition.

Nice see confidence booster against Italy. At home to the current champions on a high (hopefully), twickenham where we’ve done well recently, wales who are absolute humpty just now and then the tournament favourites away for the grand slam. We beat france last time in Paris.

Iys a tough task but we’ve shown we can compete with the best. The squad are experienced and in their peak.

Fixtures have fallen kindly.

I was pretty confident until the injuries. If our form over teh last couple of years is anything to go by we can win any game out of teh five but also lose any of them even at home to Italy. Trying to make my mind up whether to photograph Scotland on Saturday or watch Hibs.

I just can't see us getting the results against France AND Ireland - every chance we will win one of them.

Ireland in particular have had our number for a good few years now.

France and Ireland are capable of beating everyone, so really we want to be beating both of them and can afford a loss against either Wales, England or Italy.
