They Nilsen for Aberdeen still has another 2.5 years left on his contract, hasn't been very good.

He’s not a centre half not sure why he is playing there?

It's beginning to look like they have picked up some suspect players from the Scandinavian market who have been found out in the second round of fixtures

They are really bad. Hard to believe after the start they had.

  9. #14198
Dons look worse than Hibs at their worst this season. In complete free-fall and their manager is in serious trouble. Had it not been for their start to the season, they'd be fighting for relegation. A bottom 6 side in waiting.

  10. #14199
That's every team in the SPL played 23 games.
Aberdeen head us by 6 points with 15 games to play.
    Big game on 1st February.
Their 2 new permanents looked decent tonight but both their loans struggled for different reasons.

Their passing has been utterly deplorable - the only passes that don't go out the pitch or to a Hun are backwards ones.

Tough watch if you had a fiver on them to equalise 🫣

They'll take any reasonable offer they can get for any player on their books, financially Sevco are in a world of hurt. Any club eyeing any of their players should wait until the end of the window though, their new glorious leader will be s****ing in his pants by that time....

No wins in 12. 20+ point advantage practically wiped out. Cormack, Burrows and the Aberdeen fans with their head in the sand pretty much sure this manager will see them right. I’m sorry but it should not be taking a competent manager until they spend the best part of £1M+ to turn this around in this league. More this continues, more I think he is not the real deal. Long may it continue.

Also compare the media hysterics (bit rich coming from someone who overreacts myself at times), to Aberdeen no wins in 12 and in free fall, with an experienced manager to our rookie manager.

    Long may it continue.

He hasn't looked good for weeks and I don't think he improved much when he went back into the midfield.

If they can't halt this slide they might yet be! They're still a pretty healthy 11 points ahead of Hearts in the play-off spot but you couldn't call them safe.

Rangers were the better team but Aberdeen were terrible. Bottom 6 performance. If we make a couple of signings that improve the first XI we can challenge for third.

    6 points behind Real-Aberdonia

Match their result next league game and our next league match is then at home v sheepies

Can potentially cut the gap to them down to 3 points

Also worth noting, Dundee United next three fixture 2 involve playing the old firm, Home to sevco and away to Celtic

Time for them to start drying up the last minute goals.

    Believe!!!!

That's Aberdeen got Rangers out the way and new players in. They need to draw 2 lines under their form tomorrow and go again.
Interesting to see what happens in the 10 pre split fixtures.
1 round of league fixtures to play this month, 4 in February, 3 in March and the last 2 in April.
    Can't wait!

That just means DU will play the crapper teams later in this 3rd round of fixtures.
It's all about taking points from the non Celgers teams whenever you play them.
I do note DU play Kilmarnock at Rugby Park between their Celgers fixtures. That will be tough for them as will their game on 1st March at Pittodrie.
Another big thing to watch for this week on the DU front is the Wrexham decision on Sam Dalby. To recall or not to recall that is the Wrexham question.
Must win game at Tannadice on 26th Feb for Hibs. We definitely owe them a doing!

The Swedish Barry Robson is doing a cracking job there. Absolute free fall. Wouldn't surprise me if Elgin put them out the cup

Brechin manager is Patrick Cregg who briefly played for us 2009/2010.

Can’t see it The Board are backing him big style in transfer market so if he doesn’t delver third place he will get sacked
A win in cup might just kick start them again but bringing in so many players doesn’t get instant results Takes time to bed them in So hope they are still mince when we play then at Easter Rd

Not for me, we had a very average midfield that year and he still couldn't get a look in.

Was he not there when Miller and McBride were having a great spell in midfield for us together?

I think the dons were riding their luck a few times in the early fixtures and had an easy cup group, this wasn't mentioned by the fans and media as they were hailing Thelin as the New Fergie. They took a real doeing off Celtic in the League cup and I remember last minute penalty against Ross County to win a game they'd been outplayed in and a few games they scored against the run of play and held on.
