Did we have a centenary kit in 1975 or is this a new money-making opportunity that clubs have started to exploit when an anniversary comes round?

Would it be the first choice strip for next season or just a replica kit that would maybe get an airing in a commemorative friendly?

Centenary scarf, Hundred Years of Hibs book (still got mine, minus the outer cover), centenary dinner and a match v Derby County to commemorate the event. No centenary strip that I recall.

Yes, I've got a second hand copy of that book (including a merry Christmas message from an auntie and uncle to the boy it was bought for).

Re the kit I'm just unclear whether we're talking about something the team will wear all season? Was that white one with the big heart on it the Hearts centenary strip? It looked terrible if so.

If we're really going to honour an original kit do we not need to wear long shorts or even breeches tucked into the socks?
