Yet another senseless attack. I was there in September and remember bollards at the entrance to Bourbon but not so on the side streets off it, though that could be my memory.

It was absolutely rammed then so it would have 10x busier last night.

    Dreadful stuff.

Utterly despicable. People out having a good time and some **** goes and does something like this. I just can't fathom what goes on in someone's head that makes them feel something like this is justified?

Did they actually arrest/kill the driver. I can't see any confirmation of this.

Just up on Sky News that he is dead.

Had an ISIS flag in the truck and explosives. I'd ban religion if people can't follow it without murdering people, causes more harm than good worldwide

Said it before, Could not care less on what side of the political spectrum or religion they follow, this horrible piece of excrement murdered innocent people trying to enjoy the new year celebrations. I feel for their families right now.

Nothing new. Don’t worry too much about it. Humanity has been offing people over religion for thousands of years.

It’s what happens when your belief tells you that you are right and everyone else is wrong.

Not heard much about the bloke who blew up the Tesla other than he came from the same army base as the New Orleans attacker (?).

Not related. He suffered from PTSD, needed to cleanse himself from things he did during service and left notes saying he did it because Americans only take notice when spectacular things happen. So he did that to get them to take notice of their weak leadership.
