    SAD Lamp? Any good?

Has anyone here ever used Light Therapy to boost mood during our dark winters?

If so I would be interested to hear your views.

Yeah. There's a discussion about them on the Depression and Anxiety thread.

I have used a lamp for years. I wouldn't like to be without it; I definitely notice the difference if I forget to use it.

They definitely work with for some, whether it's psychosomatic or placebo effect doesn't matter as long it works for you.
Even wrapping up and getting outside on days like this lifts my mood, it was quite bright & sunny around Edinburgh today.

    Agreed.

A walk outside, accompanied by music on the headphones, always lifts the spirits.
