Perfect, thanks. I have a morbid fascination for stuff like this.

Tonight's 24 Hours in Police Custody, there truly are some disturbed people going about, surely the perpetrator deserved to be in a secure unit, he appears to have some serious mental issues.

My missus called it within the first three minutes of the episode. It took me a bit longer to click but it became clear it was the ex. Totally agree though, he should be in a secure unit. Even constructing coherent sentences seemed to be beyond him.

Kids going without phones for 3 weeks.

This could be quite an emotional watch for parents I think.

Swiped: The school that banned smartphones on Channel 4, a must (moving and scary) watch for anyone with young kids. I'm quite glad that I'm not a parent.

Not really a documentary but watched a you tube video about an island called tromelin island, really interesting story about slaves stuck on an island for 15 years in the 1700s, worth a read and watch

    Another shout for this.

Can't say I "enjoyed" it, as it was a hard watch. Set against all the current talk of "grooming gangs", it's worth a watch.

Can't see that there were any winners in what was such a horrible story.

American Nightmare on Netflix. About a couple who get broken into and the woman is kidnapped. The police/FBI assume the couple are faking it and trying to copy the book/film Gone Girl. Except they aren’t. Some mental things in it. By no means the most mental bit but for some reason the FBI thought it was perfectly fine for their agent in charge of the investigation to be in a relationship with the guy from the couple’s ex-fiancée

I thought it answered a lot. The main question remaining being, why isn't that lassie in a hospital.

What did her old dear do with the charity money?, What happened to the lassie when she was a bairn? To name a couple. Commercial Street down Leith making an appearance at the end too, I had to search back to make sure I wasn't seeing things 🤭

Fair enough. Dr's might find out what happened to her if she was in an appropriate facility.

Agreed with the charity money, she claimed she "gave it to the Salvation Army", with no further investigation.

So many wrong uns in one show.

Manhunt on channel 4, I think it’s new. It came up as a suggestion after I watched 24 hours in Police Custody. Only on episode one so far but it’s pretty tense stuff. If you like 24 hours in Police Custody you’ll like this. Don’t know if all 4 episodes are about the same case or if it’s a new one each episode.
