    Storm Darragh

Getting extremely rough here with my county upgraded from orange to red and would expect power cuts in the counties most affected by this storm like my own . I don’t know how it’s going to hit Scotland or other parts but do take care everyone 👍….

Guy at my works Irish office volunteers with the RNLI at their Portrush station and said they were expecting a rough night. Winds that were forecast were categorised just below hurricane force.

Not seen any social media updates from him this morning but can't imagine it was much fun.

Even though it’s still pretty rough here we seem to be over the worst of it . Over 20 thousand homes without power in Donegal and almost 400 thousand nation wide with numerous roads blocked by fallen trees. Noticed on Sky the Merseyside derby has been postponed now because of it too .

The waves were bad enough but the water flowing UP from the cliffs was mental. Hope everything is getting back to normal. We just got a bit of wind last night.
