Vienna Blood on the Iplayer . Really enjoyed it , maybe a wee bit cliched but very enjoyable , a wee bit disappointed that there will be no more episodes
At the same time as I've been watching this I've been listening to The Rest is History Podcast series about the murder of Franz Ferdinand , his wife and the subsequent events that lead to the breakout of WW1 .
It was strange to hear about real events ibeing mentioned in both fiction and factual programmes at the same time

Until I kill you, drama based on the true story of Delia Balmer's life with serial killer John Sweeney. I just watched it on the stick but, I think it's being shown on STV starting tomorrow night. Anna Maxwell Martin is very good in it.

Started the new season of FROM. Hoping it starts to give some answers and doesn’t go down the route of Lost which I gave up on.

Anyone watched Dark Winds? Watched the first episode and it was decent. A little bit bit of a True Detective vibe with hinting at a supernatural element.

  7. #7326
Just watched the first episode of “ Fear the walking dead “ and enjoyed it .

Out of interest, how many seasons in were you, when you gave up on Lost?

Enjoying this but was confused by Anna Maxwell Martin’s accent

Her character was born in Australia brought up in Canada and latterly Scotland

Sounds more like a mixture of Ludwig Motherland and Line of Duty with hints of Bristol and Ireland

I think she is an excellent actress btw

Not sure given how long ago it was, but maybe late in series 3 or some point in season 4. Have subsequently watched videos and analysis of varying aspects/characters which were interesting. The pacing and lack of answers made me give up in the end.

I gave up on it at the start as well I have since gone back and watched it all, I think From is heading in the same direction without giving anything away, probably best to be watched as a binge rather than week to week as you want answers rather than a drawn out process full of questions twists and turns at least when binging a full series your aware your going to get that the quicker you watch the show

Ok. I think the start of season 3 turned a lot of people off but the second half of that season you do start getting some answers. The season 3 finale is one for the ages...... incredible TV!

I think Season 4 and 5 are also really really good. I would almost recommend people to stop at the end of season 5. The final season is disappointing whilst still having some merit. I think like someone else said, now that you can binge watch, it would be a different beast. Worth revisiting IMO.

Really enjoyed the last season with Ashley Jensen definitely a lot more action a vast improvement from the self absorbed boring long silences from Jimmy Perez

    Looking forward to it

Its a miracle theres anyone left on Shetland the pace of the murders that take place. They really should make folk write a will on arrival.

When Anne Cleaves stopped writing the original novels , the reason she gave was that there was nobody left to kill 😂

Watching the actual protagonist speak on last night’s Documentary Anna Maxwell Martin had her accent spot on credit where credit due

    Yup looks half decent.

Apart from the usual domestic crap with a grumpy teenager in the spooks household. Wish they would just focus on the main story line rather than add some soap opera stuff back home.

Not sure there are many teenagers that would go in a huff because one of their parents didn’t go to a parents evening at their school
