It's time hotels had moats around them. We're all sick of tales of Brit holidaymakers taking headers off balconies.
Surprised a lot more of these aren't investigated more to be honest.

Just heard Paul Di’anno (Paul Andrews) ex singer of Iron Maiden has died
Paul sang on Maidens first two albums. He’s been ill for quite a while.

Was on planet rock last night (I assume recorded) chatting away about touring. Was due to play Edinburgh next week. Seemed a nice guy. Hadn't been well, think fans raised money to pay for a knee op.

Big part in a truly fantastic band. RIP.

Sad to hear, I knew he was ill and he had cancelled the tour. Huge part of my early rocker days were those two albums. I have tickets for next years tour, it would be nice to see some sort of tribute to Paul on the tour

Yes. In one of my favourite films - Young Frankenstein.

Hard to think of anyone notable in that film that is still with us. Gene Hackman maybe?

I'm sure Terri Garr was a call in voice on Frasier as well.

    Not bad credits.

One of my favourite films, my mum loved Mel Brooke’s films so I watched them from a young age. Peter Boyle remains my favourite on screen version of the monster.

Mel Brookes had a couple of roles in the film as well as directing and the only Scot in the cast Monte Landis (born in Glasgow but became US citizen) is still alive too but maybe not that notable, had a repeat role in the Monkees TV show in the 60s.

He was very entertaining, always got the feeling that he would be a good guy to go for a pint or two with.
