Michael Cohen for the Stormy Daniel’s payments. Exact same case as Trump has been found guilty for.

His ideology and antics may be horrendous to you (and me, FTR), but enough people have voted for him in the past to make him a valid candidate, and entitled to a balanced media view.
In any truly civilized society, Trump should not be able to run for POTUS. The fact that he can, and as you say, "enough people have voted for him", is indicative of a flawed country and a flawed society. The US should aspire to be better than him. This latter is part of Harris message, I believe. (That doesn't make me a communist, btw).

Just cannot get my head round it, I have one pleasant intelligent American friend who lives a perfectly good life in England, she is a Trump supporter and says she has friends back in the States who like her support the fat orange misogynist because he makes them feel "more patriotic".

Like is said, cannot get my head round it.

Not a rational thing for heads to be got round, it's a faith thing. God tells you the election was stolen, it was stolen, 'nuff said.

Problem is my friends a real serious atheist.

Maybe the American fundamentalist approach to religion is a good reason to be an atheist.

The thing is trump just plays up to the religious nutters.

Trump the NY playboy - against abortion
Biden, a Christian, - for abortion.

    It’s bonkers.

Maybe that's her problem. If she had a real god to believe on she wouldn't have to believe in The Trump Organisation's false profits?

As an atheist myself I'm well past accepting any deities, god, prophet and or messiah based religions, or that they have a monopoly on doing good but totally respect the right of others to have their beliefs so long as they are guided by the truth and doing good things.

That ain't Trump or his people in my world.

Haha. Think I've got this right. Vance converted to Catholicism to become a member of the resistance. He's not resisting Jews, as I'd expected, but wokeists. Is it still ok to call people like this nutcases?

It's extremely tight. In states like Pennsylvania and North Carolina (two of the major ones that are likely to decide it) the averaged polls are less than 1% apart.

Harris seems to be edging it at the moment (538's model has her chance of winning as 56%), but it's all pretty much within the margin of error.

If you stand up and demonstrate, out loud, that you're a non-nutter, you get thrown out. See Cheney, Liz.

With Biden it's not that he's for abortion as much as he's pro choice.
