Celtic's level is the Europa Conference League where the Yam are.

They may win in the odd game at home in the Champions League but they would be competitive at the lowest UEFA club competition.
Don’t be silly. Neil Lennon is confident they can make the top 16

I don't find it that funny if I'm honest. I'm embarrassed on nights like this as it shows up how much of a joke our league is. Surely we should be striving for better from our Scottish teams in Europe? The whole system in this country needs overhauled top to bottom. Coaching from grass routes to professional is clearly not good enough compared to our European neighbours. Dosent help when it's been a 2 team league for over 30 years. The sooner the ugly sisters go down south or to some form of super league the better for everyone involved including them.
    Agree with this.

The standard of the average Scottish SPFL player is dire. We should be producing loads more Scottish players who can compete at European level. I don't mean players who could go and play in the English Premier League. Just a higher standard of Scottish player. Instead a load of our clubs have to recruit sub standard players from countries such as Australia, etc.

Callum McGregor an absolute passenger at this level. Once again proving how overrated he is by Celtic fans and sections of the media.

Tbh, they have a very good chance of getting through. Few winnable games.

They really should beat Young Boys and Cercle Brugge at home. So that's nine points. Could pick up a point on the road too so should make the next round. Almost harder not to make the next round.

It’ll be the usual story, without a hint of irony or self awareness tomorrow. We’ll be hearing nothing but complaints about the financial gap between Celtic and these teams.

The biggest problem in Scotland is the two clubs that run the game here. We have associations coming out if our ears, sfa, spfl, sjfa, amateurs, youths etc etc but the long and short of it is that everything in Scotland is geared towards the two Glasgow clubs having things their own way. Media scared to criticise, referees afraid to give decisions against, referees who are biased towards them, authorities who treat them differently to everyone else, police who let their fans away with whatever they want. There is no appetite to see any other club be successful as it would upset the gravy train that all.of these organisations are on. I love seeing them both get pumped inside out ineurope and then try to excuse ut by blaming the financial gap with no sense of irony at all.

Rodgers has had some absolute pastings in Europe with them. Why cant he set them up to make things difficult for the big teams?

Mad to think the Sticky Buns hammered Dortmund just 2 years ago in Dortmund.

Exactly! Play in the same league that offers no competition as well.

you can’t play against Dortmund the same way you play against St Johnstone, you are st.johnstone at this level you have to change too arrogant though and it’s been great to watch

Love seeing them pumped and brought down to earth. Simply big fish in small pond. They are stuck as can’t get anywhere near Euro elite but will continue to dominate in Scotland.

They have had some hammerings in Europe over last few years..

    Nov 23 - 6-0 Athletico Madrid

PSG and Barcelona took 7 goals off them too.

Also lost 6-0 and 5-0. to Barca and PSG in last 10 years.

Ian Murray has done well to land the Dortmund gig after losing the Raith job.

Full time 7-1 but could have been many more.

Dortmund made subs too otherwise it could have been 10.

The mad thing is Celtic could still get 2 more HOME wins and go through with 9 points.

They are lucky they seem to do so much better at home as away record is absolutely awful.
