Get Corstorphine Road sorted and clear the traffic at peak times, get cameras up from the Subway to the roundabout at McDonald’s on both sides and prosecute the repeat offenders, never once have I seen a bus or taxi use the bus lane going out the town and the one coming in gets used but causes chaos when it comes to an end at the top of Manse Road at the lights, and now that we know this was done for school children then get Manse Road back open after 4.30 as there is no reason for it to be in force after that time, and while they are at it put a no entry sign up at Kirk Loan, will stop folk from coming up from Queensferry road.

Shift the problem to another street, all these schemes in Edinburgh just move the problems, never cure them.

Police were cracking down today, 4 bikes parked at the back of Corstorphine park and 4 traffic cars just before the zoo pulling cars in, the one strange thing was that the cars were made to park on sheets that had been laid down by the police, seemed a bit strange.

There is about 2% of the population that rarely leave there home so the poll would hardly have changed. Also it fails to say the rise in traffic in Corstorphine was similar to the rest of Edinburgh. More people each year are driving which is the opposite of what Scot gov want. They say we must cut driving miles by 30% to achieve net zero. They need to make it harder for drivers than they are. At least the main aim was achieved in cutting traffic round the school.
