    Cheers for that. Brilliant.

Lose to Dundee United at the weekend and the calls to sack him will multiply. Hopefully a draw to keep him in place a bit longer.

A tough read but we have to take it on the chin.

Our last season comfort blanket “that if it wasn’t for Shankland they’d be just as bad (or worse than) us “ seems to have manifested.

I'm genuinely surprised by how badly they've started. That opening day draw with Rangers seemed like a really solid result and I was grudgingly impressed by how Naismith turned them around last season. However, while they've got the comfort blanket of the Conference League he'll need to get some results soon. Neilson was twice sacked for less.

That second time, they basically binned him at the first sign of trouble. Naibadges should be gone between the bad form at the start of last season and this run of form by that reckoning. I've always suspected Naibadges stabbed him in the back that time too. His early press interviews after taking over on an interim basis seemed to just be him slagging off Neilson's tactics which made me wonder if he had the ear of someone behind the scenes.

Quite refreshing to read the same things that we see here after a defeat.

    I thought we were special.

Tick tock, old school manager who plays boring negative football, always hated watching his Burnley teams but they always seemed to scrape through.

Won’t mention any names but a football agent friend who manages one of the Everton team told me he’s lost it.. zero tactics.. doesn’t even bother with them. They bought a player at Xmas, turned up not to expect to play and was told he was starting the next day.. unfit

    Won’t last

To be fair, he did a superb job at Burnley. You look at them coming up last year and actually trying to play, they were hopeless even if Kompany got the Bayern Munich job on the back of it.

No last much longer at Everton though. They’re in big trouble. Be some goodbye to Goodison getting relegated.

He had Burnley in Europe. They weren't scraping through.

Punched well above their weight for years. Dyche done a brilliant job there. Far better than Kompany or Howe did.

A heavy defeat for Hertz tomorrow and Naismith will be away.

They gave him an increase in his length of contract at just the right time then.

Carlisle manager Paul Simpson left tonight. Sacked or left by mutual no idea. Difficult job with resources and location. Done an ok job with what he had.

If Dyche gets the push I wonder if Everton might try to take Brendan Rogers despite his previous connection with Liverpool.

I think even the mercenary that is Brendan may have second thoughts on jumping ship mid-season for Celtic again.

He'd have to take leave of his senses to do that. Everton are broke and if they go down I think they'll be down for a while.

Ten Haag will be gone by xmas. A lot of similarities, IMO, to Lee Johnson. Lots of talk and an ability to pull out a win when needed to delay the inevitable.

Before today his interview was hilarious. Talking about the trophies he's won and completely ignoring the abysmal league performances.

"We brought young players in and progressed them. We won trophies. What more can I do?".... talk about gaslighting
