Anyone know if he’s injured? Thought he would have featured in the league cup games?

In the squad for tomorrow.
Not injured- they've been managing the load on his heart in preseason

The club have a duty of care with him following a heart diagnosis, slow and steady.

Not sure ive ever wanted someone to succeed here as much as i want Mckirdy to. What that lads been through since coming up here would ruin any one. His interview with Hibs observer was brilliant. Took the blame for first season and said despite not doing much the fans rightly dont expect anything from him as he didn't perform. Open, honest, not the troublemaker he was made out to be when he signed and seems a genuinely good guy. Really hope he has a decent season, even as a squad player that contributes.

‘But he’s a hundred per cent in how he trains – and he just picked up a little bit of a niggle, a bit of tightness in training. So we’re just being a bit of cautious with that one, especially early on at this stage.’
