Correct he played 19 games last season and before he got that injury he was carrying a shoulder injury that was bothersome I’m sure. Shows his willingness to play in a hibs shirt, we’ve a couple I’d seriously doubt have that same desire. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hopefully Mackay and gray know who they are and are able to shift them on.

That sublime pass for Rudi's goal. Lovely. Imagine that was Scott Allan, you'd never hear the end of it.

Very good performance from Josh. I wish the haters could just accept him for what he is, a good player who'll have some bad moments in game. I would rather have him in my team than Youan, who is an exceptionally talented player but loses the ball far too easily.

Agree with that
There are 2 sides to the game (attack/defence or in possession/out) and credit to SDG he had a starting xi last night that was all doing both sides of the game.
We looked like a team (or an XI) that you'd have to work very hard to score against, and we had goals going forward.
Campbell was a big part of that.
Our old frailties appeared with the appearamce of Youan, Rocky & Levitt (great goal but suddenly the opposition looked like they could hurt us / score too)
That starting XI was very well balanced & credit to Josh for the work rate & the high quality assists, top marks

Would you rather we all just pretend that every one in the squad is the perfect footballer with no down sides to their game?
I stick up for Newell all the time on here but will happily admit that he's slow, generally very poor at shooting and makes silly fouls too often.

Josh’s goal involvement last night was top notch.
Having watched the media stuff coming out of the Netherlands it strikes me as if Josh knows he has a manager who believes in him, that will give him and extra 5% on the park for me.
His fitness in particular will be key when we are not in possession.

The three assists from Josh were excellent last night. As someone has said Scotty Allan-esque.
He also stupidly gave the ball away on a few occasions. That's just him.
The real test to see if he has progressed this season will be when we come up against proper teams where silly mistakes in that area of the pitch can cost goals.
In the meantime, let's just enjoy the fast free flowing football we have produced the last few games.

I hold Josh in very high regard and think he might be our POTY this season.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction
