    BBC or ITV ?
Gone ITV for Keane and Neville but Wrighty is maybe not a price worth paying.
If McCoist is on STV than it'll absolutely be BBC for me, if not then STV it is.

England have never won a tournament outside England.

Can spin stats anyway you like. When you have two teams at almost the same level will come down to the same combination of individual brilliance/ mistakes and luck.
Or who wants it most ?

Spain already won Euros and WC in last 15 years. England have been close and might just want it more this time, and will see them over the line.

I don't think that they are at the same level, I think Spain will pass them into the ground. 🤞
England have done better than Spain the last 2 major tournaments. They have phenomenal players throughout the team. If they played each other 10 times I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up even.

Doesn't mean Spain can't or won't win, but this is a game of teams about as evenly matched as you can get.

I can't imagine that comes into play. Every single player on that pitch will give everything to win.

Spain might have won those tournaments but I don't think any player apart from maybe Carvajal and Neves were even involved.

If England are getting pumped I will be switching over to watch Ian Wright's Pus, also what's with all the England tunes inside the stadium

BBC lot need tested, absolutely hyper at the moment. 8 days ago, they detested Gareth for his poor management, beer cans chucked at him. Now he's a "special man" to be knighted.

The crash will be something else.

They're going to do it. Everything has gone their way in this tournament and I don't see it changing tonight, even if Spain are 100 times better than them.

Should I put this pish on or not? Maybe watch it and make a call after first goal

have just switched on the Beeb... could not bear the build up. Tee-off at Scottish open yesterday had a sheet with Spain one side / England the other with players asked if they wanted to mark one side or other... then Cheered or Booed depending on choice ( a fair few declined )

I'm not, been burnt too much by Slovakia, the Swiss and Holland.

It's about as close to a 50/50 game as you can get. I think Spain are marginally the better side but England aren't without match winners and have a couple of potential game changers on the bench.

I want Spain to win but if England do it my life isn't going to change any, for the better or for the worse. Some folk I have encountered today are acting like it's a life and death affair.

Initial thoughts. This young Spanish side are playing with the same lack of inhibition that Mowbrays golden generation Hibs team did. OK slightly different level but not that ridiculous a comparison.

Spain play the modern game how I think it's meant to be played. Loads of passing but it's all with a bit of purpose, loads of movement, trying to move the opposition and get them to lose their discipline. It's not just pass, pass, pass to nowhere with an insistence 'but we are keeping possession'.

Their style has changed since tiki taka, wingers encouraged to run at people. I like the development.

Its a shame this stadium has the final (I know reasons why) as its probably the poorest of all the magnificent ones used in this tournament.

Its like a rich Mans Hampden. Terrible atmosphere - not helped by Corporates / too many Germans who bought hoping they would be there

So far England have done a great job at imitating ross county for style of play

They have too many good technical players to just hoof it

England settled a bit now and look dangerous when they do go forward.
