They’ve yet to play a good team.

And they’ve had 4 poor performances so far.

Yet they’re in the quarter finals.

Southgate just keeps hanging on. He’s the reason for there failure, a good manager has that team flying.

Here’s hoping he hangs around as long as possible.
Not sure about that so many poor performances by players can't all be down to the coach. Just think so many of them are way overated.

    Sometimes it’s just written.

England are winning the Euros. This is the one the win.
Or they finally play a good team and lose?

England should be able to play like spain

4 mins in and the contrast in energy and fluidity is quite stark

    Sigh. A week ago tonight...

Spain were lucky to get a win against us in qualifying, and we finally mastered Georgia. That showed them both!

What are you basing that on???
    The opposition they will face..

    Expect them to beat Switzerland.

Semi final..don’t think they will be worried about Netherlands / Turkey / Romania or Austria.

Still think France being in other side of the draw was a massive piece of luck.

Tbf, you can't play like Spain with the players England have at the tournament. A washed up walker and no left back. No centre mids apart from rice. No natural left winger.

England won’t have to huff and puff against a poorer team in their next games. I wonder if they will still be favourites after this Houdini performance.
Was so looking forward to the rest of the tournament, lucky b*******

If they’ve been paying attention, they will indeed be worried about Switzerland, Austria…they’re playing some excellent football so far.

No way Georgia see this out…
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Dont forget the goalie, an outstanding tournament. I think hes at Valencia (?), but could be on his way to a really big club

What a breath of fresh air Georgia are after the years of slow, stale and robotic football that the modern game has forced upon us all.

He's been a revelation at this tournament, he's often looked a bit of a liability for Chelsea, getting caught out of position frequently and too slow to cover back, but at the Euro's he's been great.

They're not beating Switzerland if they keep playing like that
