Che Adams fit to play for Southampton, was kinda hoping he would be out a further 24 hours :), still at least just too soon for Stuart Armstrong for today but he will be fit for Euros.

Patrick Bamford of course is still out injured for Leeds

Quite like the look of James Brown at RC.

First game I’ve noticed him admittedly.

I think/hope today rules out Ian Murray for the job.

  7. #17496
I thought Ross County would win with a bit to spare but didn’t think they’d be as comfortable as this.

Difference in quality in the two boxes, over both legs, been huge.

  8. #17497
They really need to change the format of the Premiership play offs. So weighted in favour of the Premiership team (albeit I think County would have had far too much for Raith regardless in this instance).

Wonder what's the chances of Ross county being in the playoffs for a third time ?

I don’t think one game should ever define someone’s managerial career, he’s had a fantastic season with them, there is no doubt of that.

    Agree.

    Relegate bottom two.

    Promote top of championship.
    2 v 5
    3 v 4 home and away
Winners play in one off game in neutral venue. And go up.
    Works in England.

Stop pissing about trying to be different.

So Hard to get out that league, as we found out. Need to make it like the English leagues. Watched a lot of Raith this year and they have been brilliant, odds against any team in current set up.

I know, i've just got a real dislike of that man for no other logical reason as he signed for the huns on a pre contract and tried to hide it for as long as he could.

I think it's really tough for the 3rd/4th place teams, but Raith coming 2nd in the Championship played less games in May than Ross County did.

    Raith played on the 3rd, 14th, 17th, 23rd, 26th.
    Ross County played on 4th, 11th, 15th, 19th, 23rd, 26th.

I'm not in favour of 2 down automatic in a 12 team league.

I'm also not convinced a team finishing in 5th place of a 10 team league should have any chance of promotion at the end of the season. That would've been Morton this season, who were only 3 points above the relegation playoff.

Why would the premier clubs vote for your suggestion.

He looked very passive today, did he actually leave the bench other than at half time & full time ?

  20. #17509
It did end up to be a stroll for County due to them having abit more quality though last year there wasn't that much of a difference between the premier and championship team.

Honestly think that Raith would have had a much better chance if they had got St Johnstone rather than County too .

I thought it was just a big difference in quality between the two, nothing to do with too many games or anything this time round.

Championship will be up for grabs next year but feel the gap between it and the Premiership is going to be getting bigger.

They wouldn't which sort of proves my point about who it favours.

I would expand the league over and above that. Play each other home and away. Dump the stupid split.

However, I'm trying to work with what we have. The league needs freshened up so 2 up and 2 down each year would be fine.

Indeed. A play-off defeat doesn't suddenly mean he's garbage. Same as SDG. Lauded after the Motherwell game. Then deemed hopeless for not beating Livi.
