Lennon seems to have a lot of pals in the media pushing his case.

For other teams. He is useless at signing players.

Rocky Marciano, Efe Ambrose, Adam Bogdan, Flo Kamberi, Scottie Allan, Jamie MacLaren, Stephen Whitaker, Brandon Barker.... He got a tune out of a few of them

Far be it from me to defend Lennon but the players he brought in through his own contacts were generally of a much higher standard than most of those sourced by Mathie on TransferRoom during that time.

I agree. Not a Lennon fan by any means but he signed some very good players for us.

Certainly Marciano and Ambrose were upgrades on the cup winning side. Bogdan too. Scott Allan was hardly some excellent work by Lennon. But he got good form out of him.
Flo and Maclaren were great for that 5 months. Both pretty average after.
Whittaker a good player yeah, not sure he was an improvement on Gray though. Barker unbelievably overrated imo. Slivka was miles better Lennon signing for us than the 5 or so games Barker was interested in.

Brian Graham, Chris Humphrey, Neal Eardly, Brian McLean, Danny Swanson, Big Dave, Rherras, Nelom, Mavrias, Bigirimana, Ageyepong, and Hydeman were flops. Let's not talk about what a mess Stokes 3rd coming turned into.

Lennon was good for us adding a few bodies to a Scottish cup winning side. He struggled big time when the core of that side (Daz, Mcginn, Hanlon, Mcgeouch, Gray, Lewis) left or aged.

Nelom for me was when it was obvious Lennon had no idea what he was doing. Former Dutch international must've been on a decent wage. He played 3 games in total. Sort of signing the old firm make every season.

Warnock away it must be Lennon you would think

Hopefully the Don's players get a boost from this news and beat Dundee midweek. After that, they can vanish without a trace IMO unless anything they do impacts us favourably.

Omg Lennon relegating Aberdeen would be two birds with one stone; Aberdeen get to suffer like we have AND we never hear him touted for the Hibs job again!

His parting words at the interview were "I'm your man".

Has he been doing a good job as caretaker? (Presumably he’s been caretaker and that’s been made permanent?)

Four points from nine, according to the BBC.

He’s done well for them over recent years. Got them out the East of Scotland into the SPFL

Done really well over his two spells. Bonnyrigg not really kicked on since coming up though. Consolidation was fine in first season but they needed to be doing more this year. Best supported team in League Two and average more than half of League One.
