That part is of no relevance - still a pen. Although that's what happened when we played Celtic recently and we never got the pen we should have.

Only last night, linesman kept the flag down in the Villa game when Watkins was through. Put it up after the ball was in the net. VAR checked it, gave the goal.

Don’t disagree with getting rid of VAR, but they’re right to keep the flag down even if it can be a bit of a pain in the arse.

Ederson and John Stones both injured in dead time recently. It makes you wonder what the point of it all is.

Madness. The guy got bumped by the other Celtic player causing his arm to go backwards, a natural reaction when being knocked off balance. If the rules say that's a penalty the game has been turned into a lottery.

it did touch the players arm but watching the replay i'm convinced the player was pushed forward by the celtic player at the back of him on to it


and with Brother Beaton on VAR it was always going to be given as a penalty

They're not checking the infringement, they're just trying to remember the decisions hierarchy. They know The Rangers are top, but can't quite be sure whether Celtic or Hearts are second. It's usually Celtic, but Rangers losing yesterday bumps them down a spot.

Johnson also jumped into the other boy, pushing him into the position in the first place. Its crazy that intent seems to have no bearing on whether a decision is given.
