I recorded it so watching now. Hull are getting a doing after 20 mins and lucky it's only 0-8.
Sky are showing a few NRL warm up games (season starts early March) and the annual Maori v Indigieous clash is 7am Friday morning.

Watched the Hull derby on Thursday, went to the Leigh game last night and flicked between Cas/Wigan and Catalans/Warrington tonight. The new rule interpretations haven’t been quite as disastrous as I first expected but the 13 cards shown in one round of fixtures compared to 83 in the whole of last season is going to become troublesome by round three or four!

Hull KR beat Leeds 22-12 in a tight, scrappy game on a heavy pitch.
2 more sin bins for head contact to add to the total.
Looking forward to Wigan v Penrith on Saturday night.

WTF is going on this season? Hull get another red card for absolutely nothing untoward whatsoever.
Ridiculous and it's going to ruin watching the games this season.
Jon Wilkin going crackers at HT about it and rightly so.

No idea who is in charge tonight but I hope they don't play to super league rules.

Problem you have is there was only one insurance company willing to cover the game and they wanted the head protected as part of it.
Also you have a load of ex players trying to say ruined their lifes and go through court for compensation as reckon didn't know the risks.
Finny enough I go to championship and league 1 games and not noticed any difference really so super league seems to be one unable to play to these new rules.

Another terrible decision from the ref going in favour of Wigan. Penrith should be out of sight but have been so poor in attack.

Salford v Castleford turned in to a decent game this afternoon and the refereeing decisions didn’t seem quite as front and centre as some of the other games.
On the insurance issue, find out who was insuring the game last night and sign them up!

after 41 straight home wins for St Helens against Salford going back 44 years Salford finally win against a 12-man St Helens side 24-20
Leeds Rhinos come back from 16-0 down at Leigh to win 22-16

I turned over to the Saints game after that shocking Leeds first half so good to read that Leeds bounced back.
Salford almost made a mess of it but 3!late tries got them.over the line. Frantic but enjoyable watch - and a deserved red card for Percival.

Rhinos littered with individual errors now, kicking out from the restart is ridiculous
they will get hammered now
and all from that ridiculous restart st helens go up and get another try 60 mins played 8-18 game over, Rhinos are spent but to be honest they've been spent from around 25 mins
nice seeing Meslier & Rutter watching on, Wayne Rooney a big fan of Rhinos as wellLast edited by cabbageandribs1875; 15-03-2024 at 08:34 PM.

I thought Leeds were well in the game but had a few brain farts where they just threw it away. Still had chances to get back into it but too many errors cost them. Good game to watch.
