Good shout , Robbie Neilson ?
He's a bit of a weird one, off to Tampa Bay Rowdies of whatever they're called. Strange career move, unless it's a pure lifestyle thing. Not sure he sees himself as a Ross County manager mind.

Bonkers club. Let their best player go for free in the summer, sold their best prospect on the final day of the Jan window and pressed save instead of submit when trying to register a striker on loan for the rest of the season. JDT hasn't been backed at all and the fans are furious he's going as they were when Mowbray left. Chat is they are replacing him with none other than Robbie Fowler.

John Eustace is the rumour around here
As you say a basket case of a club with the Venky’s assets frozen

Jeez are Venky's still in charge at Blackburn? I mind them being a basket case under them in the prem and that feels like a lifetime ago

it’s a damn shame that irresponsible owners can do so much damage to a great old club. Look at poor Reading, too: scandalous.

There really has to be a higher bar for club ownership at every level. No fans deserve to lose their club because some idiot with a few quid wants to play FM with it. There has to be more safeguards at the purchase stage, deposits or whatever, an agreement that if certain criteria aren't met then the clubs owner forfeits the ownership. Too many owners in England chasing pie in the sky dreams and trashing clubs that really deserve better.

I’m not a Blackburn fan in the slightest but obviously have a few mates who follow them everywhere and it’s them that you feel sorry for despite that they are all still in 1995
I blame the greedy Walker family
Jack left something like £200m for the benefit of the club
The siblings fought to get this out the trust and sold the club to the Venkys
The walkers should have sold the club earlier when it was a better product to sell
I don’t think the Venkys knew what they were purchasing and were also mis sold

Looking like Roy Hodgson will be sacked today. Not sure about contract complexities, but surely there has to be a way for him to step down with dignity, given what he has done for them.

Cancelled today's press conference as Hodgson has taken ill whilst taking training this morning.

Seismic fixture at Goodieson this weekend. Most feel if they lost then they will surely be sucked into a relegation quagmire. Poor guy must be feeling the strain big time.

They did! The club made a massive mistake punting Mowbray and a large section of the support never really let them forget that.

Just shows you, doesn’t matter how long you’ve been there you are only ever one game away from the sack. It’s not just us, it happens all over. Part and parcel of football

Maybe, but these young foreign owners who make the key decisions are causing havoc with the game

no surprise, i think he took ill at training last week

wouldn't surprise me if it was work related he would have a lot of stress with the way results were going, best for his health if he stood down

If we lose to Dundee then I really hope we do 'fix it'.

It wouldn't surprise me. Deflects from the board at the AGM and before the pbs.

He was already set to be binned with his replacement lined up before he took ill. They postponed the announcement after he was taken to hospital.

Wonder if he will still get the money he was going to get for being sacked? Makes the club look better him quitting.

Am I correct in saying he fell ill a couple of weeks ago and his assistant took the game for him, or am I making that up ? 🤔

    On the contrary.

If The Gordons & Kensell sack Montgomery it will focus even more eyes on them. Their complete and utter failure in appointing a competent manager three times in succession.

Yeah and also took unwell end of September too

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson missed his team’s Premier League game against Aston Villa on Saturday because he was unwell, the club said.

The 76-year-old Hodgson did not travel to the 3-1 loss at Villa Park, his assistant Paddy McCarthy taking charge in his absence.

“Unfortunately Roy Hodgson was taken unwell earlier today and is not at Villa Park,” Palace said. “Roy sent his best wishes to the team ahead of the match. We send our very best wishes to Roy.”

Beale sacked as Sunderland boss after 12 games.

What a nutjob club they are. Daft to sack Mowbray yes, but 12 games?! Seems absurd.
