    Not sure how 77 is 'no age' when the average male life expectancy in this country is 76.5!

    UK expectancy is 81 but I see where you're coming from, I just feel 77 nowadays isn't that old with better medical treatments etc, people expect to live older now.

    Just heard that. Quite shocked. He’d lost his regular daily slot but still had his Lovesongs Sunday show and other bits and pieces. AFAIK he was still working till the present.
